CAS-UAL Fridays

A quick post for  CAS-ual Fridays… Snips, snails and puppy dog tails…. a guy card! I bought this stamp to have on hand for a  masculine card in a hurry. Its from : PrintWorks ; Dads Truck from Hobby Lobby, sentiment is from Papertrey Ink ( from the balloon set)  I added some bling from Paper Studios  also H.L. Then a bit of liquid pearl to the back of the mirrors and the blots on the bumper. Paper is from Papertrey Ink.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Great guy card. What guy doesn't like a truck, right. Very good use of masculine bling, too.

  5. That's a great stamp, Marybeth. A Hobby Lobby just opened somewhat nearby, so I'll need to spend some time looking at their stamps. Clever idea using bling as lights. I could also see stamping a sentiment in the rectangular area at the back of the truck.

  7. Marybeth, it was so kind of you to check up on me. I was one of the lucky ones, living inland in New Jersey. We lost some siding from our house and food in the refrigerator, but that was it. The power came back on Thursday afternoon and life is starting to return to normal, or as normal as can be with stores running short on food and limited gas to be had. That, too, can be handled when the family is healthy. My heart breaks for those people who lost family and homes in the storm.
How terrible for your friend to not to have had closure with her father's burial. There's some strange sense of peace when you know that your parent is at rest even though you continue to miss them.

  20. I'm just getting around to some overdo visiting and scrolling down, my jaw is on the floor with each passing card! Aw, me. Starting with this one, OMW, how I love it, the simplicity, the CASness, the masculinity. Mwah! I somehow missed this and I can't believe you didn't win something as well! That's cray-cray. It's going straight in my winner's book!
