Winter Birthday

Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog #2

This Covered Bridge  from Serendipity S., looks just like the one
we see in Yosemite, but in the summer,….. without snow.

Welcome to the second Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.
There will be a special badge for the entry we love and a separate random drawing for $20 off your next order of Serendipity Stamps

This time the challenge is to make a Winter Birthday card or project, using at least one Serendipity Stamp. I want to thank those of you who participated in our very first challenge…. Thank You!

The sale of the week is 40% off the highest priced item in your cart from December 19-26

This card was easy to make. I embossed my stamped image, then dry embossed with the snow folder from Cuttlebug, added a layer of Frostyville Snow from Memory Box dies. I used a strip of tape on the edge and then glitter.
Please stop by and see what the rest of the DT has made.

  1. Marybeth this is beautiful! I love that covered bridge. I love how deep your embossing of the falling snow is, and then that flourishey snow on the bottom is perfect!

I love the beautiful snow and that embossing folder is just the perfect touch...love the little snow dots scattered all over the card. You did a great job on this...loved seeing you yesterday too, can't wait to get busy using all that tape!

  5. Hi Marybeth!!! Gorgeous snowy scene you created. I love the embossing over the stamp (I have to try that some day!) and the snowy die along with the sprinkle of sugary glitter - your roots are showing again! Bet you miss the snow!

  9. how pretty Marybeth....I just bought that stamp but haven't used it yet. I like the snow border you added...looks great.
I actually live near one of the last Covered bridges here in Ontario, Canada. It is red and has just had restoration work done on it. It is a real step back in time to hear the horses clip-clopping across the bridge...Mennonite country you know.
