Secret Santa Card Exchange. Waltzingmouse Stamps

Waltzingmouse Secret Santa Card Exchange!

This is the beautiful card I received in the mail from the very talented Jen Cuthbertson
I love the colors and the little bits of wood.
The red ribbon is gorgeous! It flattened a bit in the mail but still holds its perfect bow shape. Almost like it was frozen in time.

not sure you can see but this was all heat embossed

This was the card I sent Deborah Frings. I made two of these because my daughter had to have one for her sons teacher.  I am sure it got a bit smashed up in the mail. Sorry Deborah!

Thank you Cathy Weber  for organizing the Secret Santa !
I did not know about it last year
but I think this is the second year Cathy has done this.

Thank for stopping by and taking time to comment!

  1. Snow seems to be the popular theme!! Isn't Jen's card pretty with the cute snowmen paper an bright bow.

Your card is so bright and fun Marybeth with the die cut snowflakes against the wonderful red - love the little 'snowballs' layered near the bow!

  2. How funny - I just came from Deborah's blog and hadn't read who sent her that beautiful card so my first thought was that someone had "entered" more than one card!
Your's is wonderful and so is Jen's - This must have been so much fun - hope there will be an exchange like this next year too.
Hope your start to the new year has been good, hugs, Karin

  4. These are both beautiful cards, Marybeth. How lucky that two such creative beauties were sent/received to spread a little holiday cheer. Can I make a little confession? I totally forgot WHICH of the 60 Christmas Cards I made this year that I sent to my Secret Santa Sister, so I couldn't even post it on my blog. LOL. Perhaps if she posts it today, I can add it in. (laughing at myself). Happy new year to you!

Jen did such a wonderful job stamping that pattern and adding the snowmen to the top layer, and you are so right, lots of great inspiration for next year!

  10. Your card for Deborah is sha-ut-up-stunning, Marybeth! It is a hard one to mail, but it sure would be pretty just sitting on an end table as a Christmas decoration! I found out this year that I absolutely adore pepperminty ribbons and cards and this is going to the top of my faves!!

  12. Jen's snowmen are so plump and cheery looking! And I adore your tag card. I love how well that sentiment fits inside the oval, and how you have your snowy border spilling off the sides. The white is so crisp against the rich red.
