Welcome to the 12 Kits ! Jeanne: AKeptLife Is our host this month.
As usual, Jeanne sent out a gorgeous kit! I have so many beautiful leftovers and cant wait to make more.
Thank you!

Kara took this photo and she was so kind as to send
it to me over and over again!

This is what was in the kit that Jeanne sent us!
Fun , fun, and more beautiful fun!

The only thing I did on this card was frame it , color it in
and add a bit of liquid pearl. I have walked by this stamp so many times, once it was in my cart too.  It needs to come home with
me the next time I see him.
I was kinda surprised I colored it , but glad I did.

I loved this ribbon as it tied so nicely!

Look at that beautiful velvet red ribbon!

I had so much fun making my cards and cant wait to see what the rest of the girls have made. I am posting early as I will be gone few days. Should be back in time to see what everyone else has made. Cathy Weber who is an original member of the 12 kits is back to share some cards with us this month!
Welcome back Cathy!
Thanks for stopping by. I love to hear what you think.

ColourQ & CAS(E) this Sketch

My husband just informed me this looked like a street light and he did not like it! At least he is honest?

Hi, back with a quick post for today. I managed to make one card for 2 challenges not something I do too often because I find it a bit difficult . Maybe the red was a bit much not sure what I think yet. I did forget to stamp the flowers but then it might have been as CAS
 for CAS(E)
I am so thankful my son in law is back from the fires, he has been gone for over two weeks. Everyone missed him! My daughter has handled the 6 kids alone! I would not make it! My husband always helped out with the kids as soon as he walked in the door each day, he knew I needed a break, even though he was tired too.
Take Care!

The Shabby Tea, Room Ruffles and Ribbons

Happy Anniversary to the man I have been blessed to call my husband for 37 years!
by the way this card is NOT for him :)

The Shabby Tea Room

For this card I used my new Paper Sweeties - Best Wishes Stamp Set, that I won as a blog gift. The prize was to pick out 4 sets, what a great prize! You wont believe it but the lace was also a gift I won from a blog anniversary!  Thank you again Karin and Jeanne! The lace in person is amazing and it reminds me of something my grandmother would crochet out of very thin cotton thread.
I layered the lace and ruffled it with ribbon!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

SSCB # 14 Basket Case

We were asked to make a card with a basket , but no
Christmas or Easter baskets!

Sad news... Cathy Weber  will be stepping down from the DT, Cathy and her cards are going to be missed.
The good news is ...we welcome Vickie Zimmer To the Design Team. Welcome Vickie !
I will add a sentiment later when I know what this card will be used for, birthday, etc.
 It’s a smaller card about  4X4

I really love this image , maybe it's the gloves, or the clay pots!
I  heat embossed this image in black, then colored it in with my Copics. For some reason it is easier for me to color in with it embossed. ( helps me stay in the lines) Then I added a bit of Liquid Pearls , it was a bit much on the gloves so I just colored over them . Now, I think it looks like the little rubber nubs on garden gloves. The gloves already had the polka dots.  For some reason I am loving red, I think it's a great summer color!

Thank you all , for your very sweet comments about my heavy heart. I know it should only be filled with joy.  You are the best!
I am much better today!

I hope you find some time to play, you could win 20$
 off your next order!

Waltzingmouse June Blog Hop

Welcome to the June Waltzingmouse Blog Party!

Sorry! I have to add one more picture of the newly engaged couple
They both graduated same day different colleges, We are so proud of them.
I have to admit , it hit me hard last nigh…..t when Richard left to go home to his new
apartment….. that he does not live here anymore. I am so proud and happy for him... but I am a mess.
I know it will pass like it did with my girls , but he was my last child. What a blessing !

I have so many ideas for this wonderful set , just couldn't get them out on paper today!

Well, I think summertime and 4th of July just go hand and hand here in America! What could be more summer than that! I used some Spellbinder dies and  Verve stars. I heat embossed those amazing fireworks using Stampendous Stamp n Stuff Kaleidoscope.( it's clear and just takes on whatever color paper you stamped on) I have no idea if its old or new. I hope to make another
card using this stamp. We were married June 19 of the bicentennial year, America will be 237 years old, this July!

June Cloud 9 Blog Hop/ Monday Mood Board

Happy Flag Day to those of you in the US

Anything Goes

I made myself find time to make a for the last  Cloud9 Blog Hop!I have a huge mess to clean up from all the cards I have
made today and last night !
My granddaughter Emma, is getting her own room , so I
thought she might like to hang this on her door or
somewhere in her new room.

I used my new Folk Art Alphabet Dies and my
Banner Love stamp set that I have not used, until now. Both from WPlus9.  I thought the little banner made a cute boarder
 around my Lil Inkers squares.
I used washi tape on some cardstock then cut out the
 letters for her name.

For the mood board, I went with the color of ribbon at the very bottom and the flower at the top of the inspiration photo

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
My son is graduating ... Engineering and Physics ….,and on the Deans List! I could not be more proud of all his hard work!

Happy Flag Day to those of you in the US

10 minute craft dash

First time playing in the 10 minute craft dash!

Good morning! Last night I had time to make this fast card. It was going smoothly then my phone started ringing , took up precious seconds. At the very end my glue would not come out so I was in a big rush to find the long stick pin to clear it out, so the sequeins are not placed excatly where I would like them.
Other than that it was fun!
I had some time to use my new set fromWaltzingmouse Stamps that
has been sitting on my desk. Cant wait to make more red, white and blue cards with this set!

I know I use them on almost every card now!

Make It Monday and ColourQ #193

by Nichole

Hi! I guess I haven't posted in a few days, life is busy, and then darn colds! Before I made this card for MIM I saw the new colors for ColourQ and decided to make a card for both. Not much thinking outside the box on this one , but I do like it, and think it could be a great guy card too! I didn't add sequins (this time) but couldn't resist adding some random stars, I liked it blank too .

Let not your heart be troubled!

ColourQ #192 and Congrats!

I needed a few engagement cards,  for my son
Richard and his now fiancee Nicola!

My inspiration came from the Papertrey Ink Design team.

I have no idea what colors they will use but thought this weeks colors  would be perfect for a guy card!
I just added the other one to show you what I made for Nicola!

When I got engaged I never even heard of a conflict free diamond !
Something they both wanted. Don't get me wrong , Nicola is very simple and would be happy with anything, but it was important to them to have that.

Nicola & Richard

Hi! Sorry I don't have much time today to go into detail , but we are thrilled!  I was able to work the colors in on the guy card.( the pocket has the island indigo hard to see that it is different from the vest) Paper: Papertrey Ink , and Stampin Up .

Thank you so much for taking time to stop by.

Lets have Tea, Shabby Tea Room

I think I have the colors covered!

The Shabby Tea Room

When I saw Jeanne’s card and the picture I knew I wanted to play. Not my normal card , but I had fun making it. It will have to be hand delivered. The flowers were a gift from Jeanne and the turquoise doily from Germany was a gift I won from Karin of
Peppermint Patty's Papercraft. The little teapot charm is from Hobby Lobby, leaf die from Verve, and teapot is from Stamps By Judith F-200 Tea Pot

I hope you have a blessed day!

SSCB #13 Zentangle

Zentangle !
Have you heard of it? The name was kinda new to me!
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. I think of it as
 a bit of structured doodling.

After I finished my project I found this on pintrest. I chose to use the shoes for my project a long time ago, so I stuck with it. I added the photo, to give you an idea of what you can do.

My husband said why did you put miss you! When I was in school my friend and I would doodle on our old deck shoes, (thats what we called them  back then). We mostly did it on the thick rubber side of the shoe but for this project I stuck to the canvas. My friend will remember this, and I do miss her.

As you can see I did a VERY simple design because I was working with such a small broken up space. You might want to give it a try, learn something new and it is kinda fun!

Also you have a chance to win

a set of 30 alcohol ink based markers donated by Marvy Uchida.

Wish I could play!

The special is Buy 3, Get 1 Free, good through 6/12. A lot of the

Wood Mounted stamps on sale have been sold out but there are

still tons left

Thanks for stoping by!
