Pajama Party @ WMS

Welcome to the first ever Pajama party @ Waltzingmouse Stamps
Everyone is welcome and invited to play.
Tickle me silly, with Fine Feathers

I sure missed making cards for Waltzingmouse stamps
challenges. I always make a card that is a bit different from
 what I normally make.

I love the bit of polka dots this Feather has.
I love polka dots and you get just enough with this feather.

I stamped my feather on vellum then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I fussy cut the feathers out but not to closely .
Since this is the first PJ party I am not too sure how it works. I am entering this one in “ In the Background” and Tickle Me Silly!

It's a bit early for my PJ's but when I do put them on I
will be very happy  you cant see me.

This one is my second card for "In the Background”

I have mentioned before the anchor is the christian symbol for hope , just in case you didn’t know.

I used Victorian Alphabet to stamp the words on the banners.
Have fun and bring on the coffee!

Stamps used all from Waltzingmouse Stamps
The anchor is from Paper Smooches
The banner die its from Lil Inkers Design

  8. Oh these are just lovely! I think your wavy sea is brilliant! And I love the colours you used for the feathers - the shine on the vellum is fab!

  9. Marybeth...both of your cards are just fabulous! I would love to see your jammies, I am sure you are just as cute as can be!

  11. super cards, Marybeth. Love both of them. I think I have to buy the feathers too.
    Love from Holland.

  12. I love your feathers card, so pretty all layered up!

  13. You are so spot-on (or should I say 'polka dot-on?!) about this feather set. Not a huge fan, but love this one, and how you use it! This is beautiful. No. More than beautiful. Love this. Your second card is so full of goodness. I love how the little rope goes through each little banner...and those cool waves. Two great cards. And I'm still in my jammies. Nothing more comfortable than pjs. lol. Bev

  14. These are both fabulous, Marybeth!

  15. These are amazing, Marybeth. Love the layers of your feathers and the way they hang from the top of your card...such beautiful colors too.

I'm totally amazed at the way you used the scallop from the My Kind of Guy set. How very clever...never would have thought about using it in this way.

I have to say I love your use of the sequins. I can't get enough of these little bits of bling. Great job on both of these creative projects.

  16. beautiful feather card!! I love it!

  17. Woke up to an email from bloglovin, which I now subscribe to so I can follow you! And look at these amazing creations! First the feathers, certainly one of your best EVER! Would you believe I placed my first order for Waltzinmouse because of you? And guess what was ordered? Feathers! And I have the 'master' to show me how to!
And the sweet anchor card, made my heart leap! Precious symbol of faith and hope!
Well this is way too wordy for a simple comment. Going to check out the 'pajama party', looks dreamy!

  18. Marybeth...both of your cards are just amazing :) They are perfect in every inch !

  19. Oh your cards are goreous!
The double bow is perfect and makes your happy birthday card very feminine, love the sequins and the Polka dots too. Great inspiration tot use the feathers lined up, love that!!! ( beautiful colours too!)
Well as for your second how you attached the stitched banners to the small rope!
the sequins give the card that little extra! Your waves are gorgeous too and the card is such a meaningful card to send to someone who needs some uplifting!

  20. such a cute use of the leather shoe stamp! I love the anchor too! great cards!

  21. Marybeth these are both so lovely! I love how you did the feathers with the vellum! Such a beautiful card! And I love the anchor card with my 3 favorite words!

  22. Wow, Marybeth your cards are Beautiful!! I love the feathers card, it's stunning!! Also love the perfect scallop background of your second card! Great job!

  23. I'm drooling over those feathers Marybeth. I'm starting to associate that Baja blue and sequins with you. So pretty and fresh!

  24. I am so behind on my comments, using the ipad is so much harder to type on, but I just had to let you know I loved your card. Using the feathers like a banner is the smartest idea and one I plan to CASE...and I am not kidding about that at all! You tied a beautiful bow to go along with it too. Great job and I will write more when I get back from vacation and have a real keyboard to use!

  25. I like both of these cards but reading the comments already made I find everything I had to say has been repeated over and over again. So I'll say 'ditto' and point out that it's nice to have your artwork appreciated, isn't it? Thanks for sharing it.

  26. Both cards are incredible, Marybeth, but that feather card is one of my Top Cards for 2013! So pinned, so perfect in every way!!

  27. Okay the feather card is the polka dotted feathers and vellum on top...bow is the perfect touch!! Don't want anyone to see me in my jammies either...although I am well known for the headband and mushroom hair, lol!! It happens when you have short hair and put on a stretchy headband immediately when you get home!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I love it when you do!
Take care.
