The Play Date Cafe & CAS(E) this sketch

These buttery colors just make me hungry they,
look delicious! I love butter !

Guest Designer is Lyndal
Love the sketch, maybe I will have time to make another card for this!

I embossed the feather with this sandy kind of embossing powder that my sister gave away. I would be perfect for a sandy beach !

When I saw these colors, at The Play Date Cafe, I knew I wanted to try and make a card. My idea did not play out like I wanted but I made such a mess trying to come up with a card I thought I better post it anyway. I just don't do well combining challenges . Once in a blue moon a card will come together easily but not yesterday. Do you ever feel like it is such a struggle to come up with a card?
Sometimes you just need to walk out of the craft room.
Love the colors though! Hoping my next card will be easier to make and lots of fun!
Hope you have a great day and crafting time.

  2. You would never know you struggled, love those beautiful buttery colors, so soothing and your feather looks perfect with the die cut frame. Perfect sentiment to go with it too Marybeth. You are too hard on yourself!

And struggle with cards all the time...

  13. I love how you paired the banner with the wreath and feather - this has such a modern vintage vibe to it...and the colors remind me late summer, best time of year.
