Still Hopping

Welcome to day two of the Serendipity Stamps New Die Blog Hop.
Today we are featuring the  Bunny Die .

I am still making my own envelops and stamped liners Here

For the inside of my card I used This Is The Day

I love the way this die cuts with such ease. I stamped the last row of scallops with Summer Flower Background and the inside of my liner with the same stamp.

Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the hop! Serendipity has some new and adorable dies. Today we are featuring the Shamrock Die. This is the first of three dies.

I stamped the top panels with Mistletoe  from Serendipity Stamps. See how nice and flat this card is…

It pops open to this!

Originally I saw this box card HERE . That lead me to a tutorial It's a lot of work at first but once you get the hang of it you can make this for anything! I already had my post finished and when I saw this last week I wanted to add it to this hop post.
Cant wait to make one with balloons.
Look at all the detail on this shamrock.

This is what it looked like before I added the dark shamrock, I think it's a bit more light and airy.

I stamped the inside of this card with Serendipity Stamps

I love shaker cards and they seem to be everywhere.   I used foam tape and on top of the layer of clear cardstock,  added the outer layer of the die  that is now an inlay on top of the cut out. Dose that make sense? To make my background paper I stamped Summer Flower Background  a few times.

You should have arrived from Karen Amidon’s blog.
Next on the hop is Miriam Napier . You can find the complete Design Team list on Mary's Blog
The more comments you leave the better your chance to win
 a 10$ discount code.

Enjoy the hop!

A Bit Vintage

It just makes me happy to be making  a Christmas card!
I am so thankful for the Merry Monday Challenge.
This week just use an ornament on your Christmas card.
The DT is amazing and sure to inspire you!

I decided I could enter this card as I added chunky glitter , and rusty bells on my card.
Congrats again Cathy Weber!
I think this would be considered  Classy and Elegant?
Or would you say Shabby ?

I love this photo! I went with the red, snow and snow covered trees.
Very rare for me to inter one card for three challenges.

The photo below shows more of the sparkle I added.

Hello. Thanks for stoping by.  This card came together pretty fast  today and was easy to photograph. I wanted to use this little scene from a piece of paper I bought. ( sorry no name on the paper anywhere)  I also wanted to use my Purple Onion Designs ornament stamp, and my new ribbon and Rusty Bells from Paper Sweeties.  Tis The Season sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps.

I tried something new for me. I scored the edges of my cut paper to finish it off .( More on that in our SSS Blog Hop)

I hope you all have a very blessed week.

I Should Have Read All The Directions

Pretty In Pink!

January 2014 Blog Hop

I have three projects to share with you!
My third one is posted HERE

At first I didn’t read that we could only use pink. Normally we just go with the inspiration from the photo.  And here I thought I was so smart seeing the blue dish!

So I made another card and reattached the hand stitched heart that I made. Luckily I used removable glue dots.

All in Pink this time!Everything but the ribbon is from
Papertrey Ink

I loved making the French Knots for the flowers on this barrette!

Dont want to keep you there are lots of beautiful projects to see on the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.
I love pink, maybe because I had three girls first! Lots of pink when they were little!

More Embossing With Dies

I love embossing with dies and I feel like I have a whole new
 stash of supplies.

Heather showed us a fun way to glitter. I really loved doing this. I did forget one step …to  cut the backing  off as needed. You can go see the MIM video to see  what I mean.

I am adding this early as I have a few other cards for the blog hop and this is the only way I know how to add  third card. I will link it up on The 25th.

Good morning..afternoon..evening... as you can see I am having way to much fun using dies to emboss or deboss. I placed the rubber pad down, paper and then the die. I just kept moving the die around . Because of the die it does not flatten the already embossed image.  I LOVE doing this!

All products but the ribbon and glitter are from Papertrey Ink.
I have not decided if this will be birthday, anniversary or Valentine yet. I will stamp that later on just on the inside.

Cardstock is Rustic Cream not white.
