Fusion and Monday Mood Board

I decided to go with the colors and the flowers this time.

I missed the first Fusion challenge not sure why but I thought I had all month. Well, I am not missing this one. My friend  Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter is on the DT … Congrats again Cathy ..and I love her card this week.
The entire DT did an amazing job!
I used my Wplus9 stamps and dies since I knew this would be for the Monday Mood board as well. The paper is PTI Smokey Shadow not black. I heat embossed the vase in a pewter color.

We still have warm weather, winds and now fires. We had a fire in Glendora where I grew up it started just about a block from my DH childhood home and a few more from mine. We even had a Fire in Rancho Cucamonga today. Its out now. We need rain.
 Take Care

Stamps and dies:  Wplus9 ..Coming Up Roses and Fresh Cut Florals.
Paper: Fancy Pants..Etcetera and Papertrey Ink .. Smokey Grey

  1. Oh Marybeth...you are just the nicest person who always knows the exact right thing to say! Thank you so much and I am so excited you played along with the Fusion challenge...the vase looks so nice with the gray embossing and you couldn't have come up with flowers that looked more like the inspiration photo. Thanks again for your well wishes!

  15. OK, sleep can wait a few more minutes, I just HAD to comment on your amazing card. WOW!! It's EXACTLY the same as the sketch! That must have taken awhile to get all the elements just so. So glad you didn't miss this Fusion Challenge, and lots of wishes for wet weather coming your way!

  16. Oh the things I learn when I visit you! Did not know there was a Fusion Challenge or that Cathy was on the DT. You nailed it with those flowers in the sleek vase! Couldn't be a better choice! Been in the craft room too long, and didn't even hear about the fires. Will call my daughter today. Our drought is awful here. The farmers are in terrible distress. We're all praying for relief.
Did I hear you say one of your sons in law was a fireman? Bless him! Hope all your family is safe. Looks like it's going to be a long summer.

  17. Love these sweet flowers and the colors together. The vase looks so sparkly in the picture. We keep seeing the fires on the news and hope you aren't in the path. They are devastating and my heart goes out to those who lost homes. I hope you get rain soon.
