My mother used to sing this Que Sera, Sera song to me when I was little. It makes me think of her and Doris Day.  Here is the link to the song. Doris Day - Que Sera Sera - YouTube
My mother has a beautiful voice and often sang solos at Mass.
I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it.
I was so proud of her.( still am)
Ava Maria was one she sang often at church.

Ok, back to the card. I used Que Sera Sera and Quilted Hearts Set

  1. Yes, beautiful song!
With a special meaning for you too!
Makes the 'heart' on your FAB card extra special!
    Thanks for sharing.
Makes you realise how personal it can be to make cards yourself, doesn't it? Sweet memories of people we love and will remember for the rest of our lives, a beautiful thought, behind a beautiful card.
    Take care, Mary Beth!
Bye and a hug from the Netherlands,

    Marjolein

Ps. I sometimes sing this song too, when I'm doing the dishes and no one else is in the kitchen, ha, ha, because I can't sing as good as your mother, but it brings back sweet memories which I cherish!

  7. Your chalkboard heart looks really lovely, Marybeth. Super card!
Thank you for your lovely compliments on my charity cards.
You just brought back quite a few happy memories for me. My mum used to sing Que Sera, Sera to me, too. Also Tammy by Debbie Reynolds. And believe it, or not, we actually had a soloist friend of my parents sing Ave Maria at our wedding! But how lovely that your dear mom sang solos at mass xx
