I Gave It A Try / Edited To Add A Snow Globe

I am editing this post to add a snow globe I made for my three year old grandson , who: is in love with trains..... As most three year olds can be.
I used my MakeIt Market Kit: Tinsel & Tags that can be used in so many ways. I bought the train at Michael's crest store, I couldn’t get the last part of the train to fit this time , I will in the next one. I gules it on an old cable lid. I don’t recommend using Glossy Accents for these because if you get any on the globe it won’t come off.  Can you see my frosted window.... I placed tape on the inside and added fine glitter . I am having so much fun with this kit!

I did the back side as well , since it’s a snow globe. Sorry about the glare. I see I added one tree turned the wrong way...see on the right.

As you can see I added too much glitter and it covered up some of my scene.

Hello, looks like I have not posted in a few days. I’ve made a few cards for some future DT post. Other than that I have been busy with family and friends and enjoying life. I have missed visiting many of your blogs, I am going to make time for that today. I hope you are all well.

I made this card yesterday morning before heading out to one of my sisters for the day. We had so much fun, lunch, talking and cards... We both have large families so it was kinda nice with just the two of us.

I used Autumn Hills Stamp Set for this card, and the top cross stitched layer is from my friend Joyce
( I have had this forever) I also used a few dies from Tinsel and Tags

Not crazy about how my card turned out , but I needed to post something :)

 Have a  great day!

  12. Adore the snow globe... what a lucky little boy! I like your card, too and hope to try that technique out. Just now noticed Major... I had a dog just like him as a kid, named Baron. Like Mary's lamb, he followed me to school every chance he could =]
