Make It Monday On A Sunday!

Edited to add: My husband just informed me this is too bright and looks like a couch! Hmmm ...maybe :)

Make It Monday #194: Sympathy Cards & Stamped Borders

Melissa asked us to make a: sympathy or thinking of you card with stamped borders.

Hello! I hope you  had a wonderful Christmas !  I have missed you all! Just like most of you I have been so busy and with my husband home for the long weekend ... its family time. We even had a few extended family birthday events to go to this past week. We had a wonderful Christmas filled to the brim with love and a big mess.
Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Happy to get a card in this morning while my husband was at golf. Sad, I didn’t have a chance to do the Papertrey Ink blog hop, but your cards were amazing.

I made this card with the new free stamp set from Papertrey Ink, very kind of P.T.I to include it with our order, thank you!

I have been busy with our 12 kits cards that you can see on Dec 30 and we have a special GD too!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

  1. Happy New Year Marybeth! Just took the last of my big mess out to the curb...tomorrow is garbage and recycle day! Glad you had a fun and family filled holiday. This is a beautiful card. The yellow and green together is lovely, and I really like the leaves on the ends of your bows. Can't wait to see your 12 kits.... : ) Bev

  7. This is just amazing. I was trying to see how to use that free set for my MIM card, and could not come up with anything. Yours is fantastic, and I wish I had thought of it. It does NOT look like a couch--boo on Oscar! Love how you added the gold sentiment and I love your hanging leaves.

  15. I have no problem telling a man he's wrong... this is no exception. I love it and that yellow is just the color my eyes needed after all the gray weather we've had here! Love it!

  16. Marybeth, how I have missed visiting all my "blog friends"... things do get crazy with decorating, shopping, wrapping, preparing foods etc. We have our last big gathering of my Italian family tonight...23 people, I already made my big batch of baked spaghetti, so I should be good for taking time to leave comments and get caught up on everyone's treasures on their blog...I spied a darling ornament you made must go back and inspect it further...I made one for each grandchild (only 6 for me!!) and one for a niece and nephew who have their own homes now. Happy New Year! And this card is fantastic, I love your tag!!

  17. I think your card is so lovely and it doesn't remind me of a couch in the least bit. Very elegant as always. Love all of your baby cards too.
So, so cute. Happy New Year to you and your family.
