Christmas In July 12 Kits

Welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions!

Cathy Weber is our host this month and she sent us
Christmas in July!  Thank you Cathy! It was so nice making Christmas cards while we were
having such warm weather.  I loved the country feel to this beautiful  kit.
I still have so many leftovers for more cards and tags.

Our guest this month is someone we all know and love: Lisa Elton
Welcome Lisa!
We are sad to say, farewell to our talented and kind friend : Kelly Schirmer. Kelly
has been with the 12 Kits since the beginning and she will be missed. Family always comes first.

I smoshed the straw that was in the kit and adhered it with some score tape.

I cut the green tag out using Poppystamps new stitched tags.

I made my cards the first week of receiving this fun kit and
I  kinda like how this tag turned out using Stitched Mainstreet Tags
Don’t you love the plaid and polka dots!

  7. This is such a great bunch of cards and tags Marybeth...love the tag with the Poppystamp die. It looks so nice with the patterned papers...also your smooshed straw card was so smart...it would have been so much easier to adhere mine if I had flattened it! You really made my card kit shine...thank you!

  13. Awesome job with Cathy's kit! Your cards are fabulous--and you even used a straw! Great design on that one. Love how you did the border and used the leaping deer. Your tags are especially awesome! Love the designs with the new Poppy Stamps die set. Is your tag tree a PTI die?

  16. Fantastic bunch of cards, Marybeth. Love how you used all the patterned papers--especially love that Christmas tree you cut out of the plaid. I wish I thought to smoosh that straw--it made such a great border. Good thing I still have my straws so I can copy you.

  20. Oh yes! I do love the plaid and the polka dots! Actually, what's not to love? The kit is gorgeous once again - so warm and homely. As I said to Michele, the textures and patterns make each card and tag feel like a warm, cuddly sweater. Just what you want for Christmas in the northern hemisphere! Kits are too wonderful for words! So lovely to see your creations each month!!
