Teal Pumpkin Treats

Lizzie’s MIM  I learned some blending tips,
 click the link above.
I used the perfect pearls on my tag but it's not showing
up in the photo.

Sorry these were taken as the sun was going down.

Hello! I made this little tag to go along with some of the non food treats I will be giving out this year.
So many kids with food allergies can’t have most of what we all give out.
I try to have a few goodie bags made up with non food treats.
I will be giving more than just he pencil, I was in a hurry.
If you click on the link above you can learn more about the teal pumpkin project.
I will also be putting out a teal pumpkin that I painted so the kids with food allergies know there is a safe treat!
It can be life and death for some kids! You don’t have to
have a lot just a  few for those kids who can’t eat most foods.
I thought the sentiment on the tag was perfect for this!

Thank you so much for the visit and all your kind comments!

  6. What a great idea, and your packaging is so cute! What an eye catching pumpkin to let the little ones know you have treats especially for them!! Sadly we don't get any trick or treaters....never have!

  9. Your tag is just so beautiful, Marybeth! I especially love the color combo!

I never heard of the Teal Pumpkin Project but what a good idea. We only ever had one child (a neighbor's grand-daughter) Trick or Treating who had severe peanut allergies. We were very careful what treats we gave her, even had her treats bagged separately in the store when we bought them and held separately in my house, too. She is in college now so we don't do that anymore but I think non-food treats is a better way to go today because there are so many different allergies.

  12. These are lovely, Marybeth :)
As someone with multiple food intolerances (most of which have become apparent over this past year), I fully understand how difficult it can be to find 'safe' foods.
    You are a star. X

  14. That is a very sweet idea, and your tagged gift looks beautiful! Good initiative too! We have big problems with childhood food allergies in Australia, and kids aren't allowed to bring any foods containing nuts to school at all. Great project!
