April Shaker

We have another very talented guest this month: Sue McRae
Welcome!

Happy April Fools’ Day!

Mary is having a :1-Day “No Foolin’” sale!
50% Off coupon – “AprilFool”  gives 50% off the highest priced item in the cart.
Coupon good April 1 only! This is a great time to get that stamp, die or set you have had your eye on.

Another easy challenge , emboss any kind you want , heat dry etc. I choose heat for my card.
I changed this one up many times, then I had some oval dies sitting on my desk and decided to make a shaker.
My mother always did fun things on April fools , for my dads lunch she would pack hard boiled eggs ....
only they were not hard boiled! (raw)
In the cool-aid picture she would have jello. You really had to be alert that day but it was always fun,
how she found the time with 9 kids!

I saw theTime Out challenge this morning on my friend, Anita’s   blog and knew I had to play along:
Inspired by words and this is the quote for the challenge!
I used the stamp from Serendipity Stamps A Woman Is Like

Thanks for the visit!

  12. Wonderful cards, Marybeth. And, I cannot believe that you have the actual quote for our challenge. This stamp is definitely going on my Serendipity wish list. Love how you have highlighted it with your water coloring. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out this week.

  13. Nice cards Marybeth. I really love your "shared memories." For a short while I lived with my friend's family and her dad would put toothpicks in the salt shaker and salt in the sugar bowl. Funny 50+ years later it is still a fond memory of her father.
