Sweet Pea and a Sliding Golf Cart

colourQ challenge #342...
CAS(E) this Sketch #173
Sweet Pea Stamp Set
Hello! Hope your happy and well.

I was the lucky random  winner of this darling stamp set,
that my sweet friend  Lisa gave away!  Lisa also designed this darling set, after her own little Sweet Pea granddaughter. If you have not seen her you will have to give Lisa a visit.

I loved the colors in this weeks CQC and I wanted to use the sketch for CAS(E) this sketch.

I made this fun little slider card with a set from Papertrey Ink and the slider die from lawn fawn! So much fun .... this is the second card....when I finished the first one I dropped it on an open ink pad... I wanted to cry! Well, maybe I did just a bit :(

  1. Two wonderful cards Marybeth! I love Lisa's Sweet Pea set and I really need to order it. Your choice of using the flowers in this week's colourQ colours is perfect! The slider is fantastic, the perfect patterned paper and the sweetest golf cart image. My daughter is working at a golf course this summer and this has given me some great ideas! I totally feel your pain on the ink incident, have had that happen to me too many times before. Thank you for sharing with us at the colourQ this week!

  2. Two simply adorable cards Marybeth...your golf cart is so stinkin' cute, just love it and that Sweet Pea card is as sweet as can be! Oh no...I too have done that and just the other day, I dropped the ink pad on an almost finished card, I have to admit I did cry a bit too. So up setting when things like this happen, but what else can you do...cry a little and start over. Enjoy your weekend!

  9. I"m SO HAPPY to see you used the Sweet Pea set Marybeth and your card is perfectly darling!! I have a Pinterest board for cards made using my set and this is going on it right now!! Your golf cart card is fantastic, My hubby worked on a golf course in high school and was later the head mechanic at one after his discharge from the USAF!! What a shame about the ink pad. I just discovered an unexpected black blob on one of my 12 kits cards...ugh...added an extra leaf to cover it LOL!!

  13. Beautiful floral CAS card Marybeth! Love the golf cart card! ugh, I flipped up the front of a birthday card to write on the inside yesterday and right on to the stamp I use for the back of my cards, that I never clean... ugh. So little black marks. SCREAM! Must've been a bad day for us yesterday!
