Just Add Water

We are so excited to announce that Carol Mayne  and Patti Kehl be apart of the Serendipity Stamps design team! I couldn’t be more excited to have these two kind and talented crafters join the team.

Welcome ladies!
Hi friends!  We have a new challenge and a new Stamp of the Month at 50% off! Winner of the challenges has a chance to win $20 certificate to the Serendipity Stamps Store.

I created this card on a very hot smokey day.  Two fires on top of 109 + heat, those poor fireman!

I added some water to my paper then a swipe of my Zig pen and a bit more water. After it was dry I cut out my word dies. Each word die is layered 3 times.

You know what I love about all these word dies.... the word is all connected even the dot for the i on the first word. No pieces to add on.
I’ve been away from my blog , family emergency before a vacation. One of my daughters appendix burst and she was in the worst pain! We dropped all plans  so that we could be by her side and then I spent a few days with her girls (my granddaughters) while Natalie was in the hospital. Thank God she is on the mend. After the surgery the Dr. came out and said that was NASTY!  Not what a mom wants to hear.

This is our sweet granddaughter Bailey.
So easy spending time with them.
Not sure why the arm looks so large , lol!

50% off Stamp of the Month

Have a blessed day!

  9. Your card is beautiful Marybeth, I love the colours of Zig's that you used. I am so glad that your daughter is on the mend, sounds so scary to have her appendix burst. I am sure spending time with your grandchildren was okay with you! Welcome home! -Sorry to hear about the fires, they are finally getting control over the wildfires in Alberta. An entire town, over 2000 buildings and 665 work camps were destroyed!

  19. The effect of the little bit of colour looks amazing on these word dies, Marybeth (and I agree, it's a huge plus not to have to find that teensy dot for the "i" after die cutting). Always great spending time with family; but not under forced circumstances like that. Glad to hear your daughter is on the mend.
