Welcome to Papertrey Ink's 10th
 Anniversary Celebration!

Guest Blogger: Lizzie Jones
Hi there!
Papertrey Ink is celebrating 10 years of an awesome stamp Co.
Papertrey Ink was the reason I started my blog.
Thank you and Congratulations on 10 years!

Tip: the stitching around this purse was white, then I decided
I wanted it to match the felt so I just colored it in with a Copic marker.
I do it all the time, no need to start over :)

I will be playing along as much as I can this week!
Simple stitched coin purse made with all Papertrey Ink products.

Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. This is so darling Marybeth! True confession, I have these dies and have yet to make one. I'm so embarrassed I just confessed that. ;0) The zipper intimidates me. I so must give this a try.

  5. Very cute little project! Love the darling bird and what a clever idea to use the Copic marker to color over the stitching.

  9. This is so cute - love your color combo. I don't have the pocket die but I have the purse & bird. I cut out all the supplies (a couple times in different colors) and gave them to my 10 year old great-niece for her birthday. She was so excited to sew them together and mix/match colors. She figured out the zipper pretty quickly. She was going to a birthday party the next day and decided to give one to the birthday girl. I know I'll have to prepare some more for her.

  12. Oh, how sweet, Marybeth!!!!! This is such a cute little gift for someone special!!!!! Love the birdie!!!! So clever to colour the stitching with the Copics - the kind of thing I would do, too, to not have to re-sew the purse - had to smile!!!!! A lovely project, my friend!!!!
    Have a great day!!!!!
