Make it Monday With a Few Trip Photos

Hello ! Here is my card for Make it Monday,
I used Nuvo Crystal Drop : Pale Gold for the dots.

I added fun foam but left the dots open to show just a bit more of the paper instead of having it be all white.

thank you for the beautiful jewels , Colleen
I put the card first , if you would like to see a few photos from my trip, continue on.

I had a chance to spend a few days with these dear friends , oh how much fun we had.

We needed to eat after shopping at the craft store:)  The waiter didn't believe we all just met
( Darnell came for a quick visit to my house last year) but for some reason he did believe Darnell when she said:
Colleen and Linda were twins and celebrating their birthday...lol

Colleen in blue: One Smile Lifts a Spirit  Linda in the middle:

First stop from airpot was this stamp store in Seattle called Empress( I had never even heard of it before) To say that I was surprised when I saw actual products that I made for Poppystamps was an understatement! I only sent Dave the owner two of the felt projects I made for the package covers ( he wanted a few for brick and mortar stores) To see them in this store was a huge surprise .

We even had a visit from Darnell's Hammy
The girls welcomed my sister Marylou (above) to join us for the day as I spent the rest of my trip with her.
We all had such a good time and so many laughs....
Thank you again Linda for such a beautiful home to stay in and thank you... Colleen, Linda, Darnell and Marylou, for the great memories

I hope your week is a good one!

  1. Marybeth, this is stunning, love those gold drops and oh what fun to see those pictures of us all together! I just love the restaurant story!! *wink...twins indeed! (but we have heard that for years...her dad always said he wanted to get a paintbrush and paint my eyes brown! LOL) Have a fabulous week...don't work too hard painting!! I KNOW I am too old to paint anymore, of course, never was very good at it anyway, just wore a lot of the paint! Heart Hugs, Col

  2. Your card is so lovely, the gold droplets are elegant on the sweet blooms. Isn't it fun to meet blogging friends face to face? And shopping too? Fabulous memories. Not surprised at all that 'Marybeth creations' are featured in a stamp store! Hugs, and hoping someday to meet you and share laughs and crafting time together!

  6. It's fun to see how those dots changed the florals so much on your beautiful card. Every time I get near Seattle I stop at Impress although they have closed two of their stores where I used to visit. How nice that you all could get together in Seattle.
