means she must have been in some pain.

I dipped my background in ink spritzed with water, then added 

shimmer when it dry.

 I love the images and bright and colorful patterned paper

Challenge #25 – Color Inspiration

Hello friends! 

I needed a card to give to my daughter and her husband Tom,

Soon it marks a year since the shooting in Vegas when Tom

was shot three times. I thought this sentiment was simply 

stated and perfect . 

 My heart goes out to the families that lost a loved one, and the  

many that are still suffering . My daughter keeps in touch as they all need each other.

I heat embossed my image with gold powder and watercolored  with the inks below. I decided to fussy cut my image and pop it up 

with foam tape to the back. I love this stamp from 

Concord & 9th .  Grateful For Everything 

 

 At first I didn't think I could use the colors but I ended up liking them and so different from what I normally use.

 I won't go into the long story but some of you know immediately after the shooting a man in a RED PIKCUP gathered as many shooting victims as he could in his truck as he himself was fleeing the shooting. (My heavy heart and prayers are with the families of the six people in  the truck with them that didn't survive, my they rest in peace.)

When I saw this pillow it just seemed happy and of a time most of us love (fall) So I bought it for Nicole and Tom and I searched for one for myself as well.

Not sure why this posted early but looks I am posting two cards today.

 Hello! Its time for another Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop

You'll  a chance to win $20 certificate to the store, just

 I added Peerless Water color  right on top of  my (Tim Holtz) glass mat then spritzed with water, placed my watercolor paper on top . I did this a few times till I got the color I wanted. When dry ( I used my heat gun) I stamped the image onto the paper and fussy cut it . Then I stamped the same image again and added the cut leaf to the top, with foam underneath. 

I love how the fussy cut look still has the watercolor painted edge.

 I've used this "Maple with Quote" leaf many times most of them end up in a large frame, I love the simple look of it in a large matted frame. Thanks for takin a peek today.

Hi friends! Finally posting my card for Make It Monday!

Just got my computer back.

As always I am running low on time this week, 

 this one took me a few tries to create.

My card pops up but wish I added something underneath.

Not crazy about my watercoloring on the jacket but no time 

to make another.

I used my Zig pens to color in the images and blended the ink on the base of my card with daubers. 

So easy to blend now with my glass mat from Tim Holtz .

images and beautiful papers. I ended up keeping all my cards

monochromatic . I did a bit of coloring and added shimmer 

and Glossy accents to most cards.

Hi there and Happy Birthday to one of my granddaughters! (13 today)!

I love this new Forest Floor Autumn set from Papertrey Ink!

I almost didn't buy it, so glad I did as the dies sold out fast.

I think you can still get the stamps .

The card above is for MIM . I didn't have a Papertrey Ink background stamp  large enough so I used MFT : Bundles of Blossoms . I made the Just a Note card first and wanted to try the background  stamp on a second one.

The one above uses the dies and I have Glossy Accents on both.
