February 12 Kits of Christmas

This the second month post for the 12 Kits of Christmas.

Cathy Weber is the host for the month of February.

 This is the adorable kit Cathy sent us, I have to say it's so fun to 

get our kits in the mail.  Cathy sent beautiful papers , Yuletide Collection by

Memory Box with this adorableWesley Bear also MB . Some of the sentiments

were from Waltzingmouse Stamps and Papertrey Ink

Snow Globe by My Time made Easy . Love this kit Cathy sent us, I could 

not wait to have a chance to get to play with all the goodies.

 All 12 of us get the same kit in the mail . (picture is from Kara) Then we all make something 

using the very same kit. It's so fun to see all the different styles of 

cards we come up with.

   This is my first card. I added glass beads from Martha Stewart for the snow

      On this card I use the embossed  circle Cathy sent us, the 

        Memory Box die I had: Frostyville Border. I think this 

          bear is just too cute, Thanks Cathy!

I had time to make one more and I use the technique from
Maile Belles, using GlossyAccents on the tag from Cathy
I cut up a sentiment and  applied the GA.

I tried to get away from flowers , guess I didn't!

 Dawn McVey  from PTI showed us how to use a small frame and make it look large.
 So I guess you could say Dawn taught us how to be deceptive…..Only joking! 
 Have any of you thought of this before? Wish I did. I just noticied I did not stamp
 that cute butterfly, I will add it later.

My grandson turns 8 on the 29th so its really only his second birthday. I knew I had to have a frog

Good news! My daughter Nicole the one with 6 children was just told by the special ed and speech thearpist that her daughter, Delaney with Down Syndrome will be able to go to the same schools as her sisters and brothers in main stream kindergarten ! And we will take it from there and see how she does. When her speech thearpist told her she did very well one day, she said BooYa!  

Hi and Happy Friday! I got my card in for the CoulurQ challenge. This was the closest to the colors of ink that I had. I am still building up my PTI ink supplies. Since I added glitter buttons again I thought I will go ahead and inter again in the MIM challenge. Funny how much I love these flowers, I bought  other new stamps I just keep going to these, they just make me happy. Sorry ! I did not get the butterflies because I 

had already bought two dragon flies, cant wait to see what everyone makes with that popular set!

Couldn't sleep last night so I had so time to make a card. I used the new Frilly Flowers stamps and die. I love the new zipper die too!
the lavender ink I used was some dollar ink I bought a while ago needles to say it didn't work that well.

Make It Monday Glitter Buttons

Ok ,I love this flower set I got in the mail, today more than any other flower set I have ever had! Even though I didn't have too many. I almost did not get this last min. I said... what the heck! So glad I did.
I did not even use all of the flowers that come with it! Tiffany Pastor made a home run on this set !It's going to be so versatile for me. I think the possibilities are endless. 
I really wanted to do my button card over, I used a clear glitter this time much better I think!
 I have a blog friend who took an early retirement and I am ashamed to say I have not given her a card yet! This will be it.
 Im so excited about this stamp set and die. I feel like a kid in a candy store!  It kinda reminds me of how happy I feel on ( Its a Small World at Disneyland)  I feel this way about all the new things I got in the mail from PTI! No!I have not been drinking , just so darn happy!
The stamp is Papertrey Ink Frilly Flowers and Die and all PTI ink and paper.

Day 6 PTI

Day six of the Anniversary Contest. This is the sketch I use for todays 
card. As you can see I didn't go outside the box on this one.

Hi I chose Erin Lincoln because I liked her card
and her pinterest inspiration photo.
I think I got bit by some kind of bug or spider because my wrist is swelling up
as I type. Going to look into  this.  Have a good one!

Outside of yesterdays MIM this is the first time I have

combined two challenges.  Not my thing, I think 

I will maybe stick to one at a time. First I was using my 

sm. heart die and on the second eye, I lost it (the die not my mind)

I could not find it anywhere I even said my St. Anthony prayer, it just 

up and walked away. I'm sure it will show up . Oh well!

This is the free download from Melissa Bickford . I loved the colors so this is the one I went with. Funny thing I never looked at her card until I posted mine. I think both are very similar! I enjoyed making this one . At the last min I though I would also be able to use it for MIM if I added this folded tag.

I saw the movie Descendants with George Clooney. Most of  you know it took place in Hawaii. 
With all the beautiful flowers in Hawaii I though this would go well for a current movie.
 I had an another title for an older movie , that someone else already used ,
I was suprized because it was so old some of us just think alike:) I love making this floral wreath  it is so relaxing. I thought I would put the sentiment on the inside to keep the front clean.
