Make It Monday #76: Double-time Bleach Stamping

 Hi I am back from vacation. We went to Yosemite  National park ,with family and many friends.
We had a wonderful time and it was beyond gorgeous. After this tripYosemite is getting a close rating with my all time favorite place Yellowstone National Park. 
Well, it sure looks like I missed a great weekend of Papertrey Ink Crafting. Looks like everyone had so much fun. I liked Nichole’s ( Click on her name to find out more) make it monday this week and found a little time to make a quick card. I guess not the most cheery get well card, but it will have to do. Kind of turned out like army fatigues . Cant wait to try a  brighter card.

The Great Outdoors

Good morning! First I want to say how excited I was to be included in  Kara: KandRDesigns

Friday Inspiration File # 76…with this card That just made my day! Thanks again Kara. Then I found out the same card won V.I.P  for CAS-usa Fridays  needless to say I was so happy. Thanks to all who left such kind comments and congratulated me. It was so  kind of you to send me emails and go back to comment. It means a lot. 

This weeks challenge was to use strips of color. I used a ribbon I got from William Sonoma. ( Even if I don't get something wrapped  I always ask for some of the ribbon. It was a big purchase, but I even do it on small ones) Then added some  tape from target .  I used Vintage Cream cardstock… many times because I don't specify  people think its white. Then added a pink button.

 Hi ! I had a wonderful time with 3 of my garandaughters. They went home Wednesday before noon.

 I was sad to see them go.   They were gone only an hour when my friend called and wanted to know if I would go to Laguna Beach with her to an art festival. (I love last min plans, I really do) It was warm here so I went with her, didn't get home till late. We went to a great restaurant on the water called Las Breisas. Much cooler at the beach! Our husbands were happy to have a break from us Im sure.

Ok Tracey…..  I was not going to miss your first CASology challenge. So this was top on my list.  Sorry Im a little late to the party! The very talented Tracey is on the Design Team. If you haven't already you must check it out.
And of course I always love to enter the ColourQ challenge, love the colors!

 Good Morning!  I made this card late Saturday night . As I said I am having trouble with my camera I think it's the lens. So it only took about 100 photos to get this one :)   I turned the sketch on its side. I have 3 of my granddaughters for a few day so this will be a quick post. We had a busy fun weekend and I hope you all had a nice one as well. We are finally heating up out here in Ca. Hope the rest of you are  enjoying nice weather, or cooling down if you are in US and in that heat wave.

 The cas-ual Friday challenge is…. Use text and keep it CAS . I knew right away this die I bought about a month ago was going to be just perfect….Tall Birch  Memory Box. I stamped some vintage cream cardstock with a script stamp…Faded Text Background from Stampabilities  then cut the die. Since it's not winter I added a few leaves from Faith & Hope PTT. I am having trouble with my camera so this was the best I could do, after many photos.

Good morning ! We had a beautiful weekend.  I am so sorry for those of you with the bad weather and fires. I hope things get better soon. 

 I received some of my new stamps sets from Waltzingmouse Back In The Saddle  and my new Rosie Posies from PTI  ( very late in jumping on that band wagon) I made this card Sunday morning 3 am . I love that I can make cards when I cant sleep. I used the new paper pack from Hobby Lobby  Lost & Found by Minds Eye.   This is also my PTI Make it Monday card ...stamping on printed paper… which I had already done.  I used Glossy Accents on the hand cut guitar .
