 Spring Release Blog Hop

I stamped the heart on a few different pieces
of patterned paper then cut them out and
adhered them with foam  tape. Next time I will
use white embossing powder on
the thread so you can see the detail.

These cards were all made with some of the new
stamps and dies from the

The top heart is floating on a clear card stock

I love the small hearts that come out of the love.
This die is from Spellbinders; Majestic Elements

Well, I knew right away what stamp I was going to use for... GAME.  I love to golf ! I paper pieced the bag, the color in person is more of a primrose. I stamped everything in brown. This time I made a card for two challenges something
 I don't do too often.  I used

Papertrey Ink MIM and Dynamic Duos

Loved this one by Ashley’s

Quick Post! I used Heart-2-Heart #3 Mini Stamp Set and the heart die from Papertrey Ink - Tremendous Tags Die.( Cut out of felt) I am sorry for the dark photo took it with my iphone. I know I will be making more of these in different colors. I also wanted to inter this in Dynamic Duos. The colors are just a bit off in this photo. I do love the Papertrey Ink - Essential Pillow Box Die
Thank you for all your very kind comments on my blog hop card.

January 2013 PTI Blog Hop

Keeping this short and sweet. Bet you will have lots to look at.
 The theme is Black Backgrounds.
I love this fun new set from Papertrey Ink. I am having a bit of a hard time getting the center leaves to
stamp solidly. So I pressed down with my hand
then cut it out by hand , then added on to the main image.
If you look closley you can see what I mean.
Other than that … I love this stamp set!
There are so many variations to this set.

Happy Blog Hopping!

ColourQ Challenge # 173 & Simon Says Stamp

I paper pieced the gloves, pots,  pruning
 sheers  and the main image.

I loved the colours in this week ColourQ, I have not had a chance to play in a while , happy I got the chance today.

Thanks for telling me Joyce!

I saw this card Garden Basket Jenny made and I thought I had the same stamp. Mine is  different, and of course I don't color as well, but I think it turned out nice anyway. This is another new die I bought, it's not modern or anything but something about it I just love. I guess I am just getting older . I enjoyed making this one and might make a few more to have on hand it was very relaxing coloring for a change. The gloves are paper pieced with patterned paper. The stamps are from yep…Serendipity Stamps ,
Paper from Papertrey Ink, and the dies are
Spellbinders Majestic Elements

You have a chance to win 20$ off your order

Happy Birthday is also from Serendipity Stamps

Thanks for stopping by!

SSCB 4 Have A Care

 Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog
Have A Care . You can use a free digital stamp
if you do not have one.
Everyone can play for a chance to win 20$ off your order.

If you do not have a Serendipity Stamp of your own this
time you may copy and paste the one we have on the blog.

I save all used boxes’ from See’s and recover them
with patterned paper, that I have tons of.
If I run out of empty boxes’ you know
what I have to do :)

I just, sort of reverse the wrapping process.
then lay a piece of paper on the bottom of the box.

I recover the top and bottom and fill with homemade
candy, usually Honeycomb.

This time the challenge is to use one of the free stamps you get to choose when you order from Serendipity Stamps. I chose this one because I think it's so elegant.
I just received my new dies in the mail , so I had to use my new postage stamp. ( I know its an old die but new to me)  I stamped a few bottles then … you guessed it added some Glossy Accents to give it dimension and the look of glass. Keeping it simple.
Think of ways you can recycle and or reuse. I recycle bottles and cans all the time.  I am sure you do too!

I would love to see more of you give this a try.
Tracey McNeely just won 20$ to spend at the SS store!

The special this week  January 23-January 30th, is 20% off the
Home and Farm Stamps

The design team will be having a small  blog hop to show you some of the new Spring dies and stamps!

Waltzingmouse Stamps Technique Challenge

Over at Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog

Claire decided to have a technique Challenge. Using the chalkboard... effect. You need to click on the link above to see what she did and how she made it different.
Do you see… I used washi tape on the side of the card.
I seem to be posting a lot, so thank you for all your kind
comments day after day.

I wish you all many Blessings!

I seem to use at least one stamp from this set all the time

Thank You!

I made this thank you card a few weeks ago.

I thought it was kinda pretty so I thought I would share it. It's not for a challenge just for a very kind and  generous person.
I made this with my Hatboxes  Serendipity Stamps.
I over heated this a bit. If it was not the week the baby
was born I would have redone the embossing.  The hatbox stamp I used is very detailed , but since I over heated and melted it you cant see all the detail.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Make It Monday Layered Embossing

A quick project for Make It Monday

by  Heather

Good morning! I finally bought this bookmark after seeing all the amazing bookmarks Joyce: Cards-by-the-Sea has been making. You enabler you!

My daughter thought it would be fun for her girls to decorate and give bookmarks out for St. Valentine's Day. I offered to cut them out for her. As I was cutting 50 I thought I would take a break and make one for myself. So I layered the heat embossing like Heather showed in her MIM video. As you can see I first embossed it with the PTI woodgrain, then cut out small heart from PTI heart trio
The stamped images are from Framed Out #11. Everything used in this tag is from Papertrey Ink.

I will be giving the girls blank bookmarks and they will add ribbon and whatever they decide. I even have clear bookmark sleeves to give them .50% Off Clear Envelopes at Serendipity Stamps right now.
