Simple flat card using the same stamps as the shaker below.

I used this simple shaker box from Serendipity Stamps, 

just open and fill! Its a bit large for the mail

but fine for hand delivered cards. It's filled with sequins from

Pretty Pink Posh. I just glued some twine/jute around the opening.

January 12 Kits of Occasions

Hello and welcome to the first 12 Kits of Occasions for 2017

Lindsey is our gracious host for taking January when so much was 

going on because of the Holidays.

On a sad note we are saying good-by to Joyce of 

 Cards-by the-Sea,who had been apart of this group since the beginning.

 Of course we can still see her beautiful work on her blog.

I know I have been missing on the blog for a bit. My daughter with six children somehow broke most of the bones in her leg/ foot/ ankle. Waiting for the swelling to go down and then surgery to rebuild her leg. I am trying to be there for her as  much as I can. 

I think God wanted her to have a long rest! 

 I miss you all!

 Hi there! Hope you are all doing well and staying cozy and warm. Its been busy around the Lopez house. Happy to get in a few extra days off with my DH and even a bit of golf. He golfs often, but its been awhile for me. We had so much fun and it was a gorgeous sunny day with the beautiful snowcapped mountains in the background!

Masked Heart

Make It Monday #272: Masked Heart Wreaths

Hi there and happy Monday to you! I spent MLK day at our two of our granddaughters soccer tournament today, 

as it was near by . We had a beautiful sunny day and I was very grateful!

Melissa shared in her Make It Monday video how to make a darling masked heart card. 

For some reason my computer wouldn't let me share her card but you can see it in the link above.

I am working with a new computer and for some reason when I edit my photos they look great then when I post them they change......... Hope to figure it out soon.

I may have stamped way too many large green leaves and not enough small blooms.

I created this card this morning and didn't have a chance to post until tonight! I used the Papertrey Ink Make It Market Kit: Don't Forget to Write stamps on this card , the die is the same one Melissa used ,Papertrey Ink - Limitless Layers: Heart Stitches Die and the sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps Love You Small. Hello! Hope you are enjoying your day! 
We are getting some much needed rain here in CA! 
I love the rain but often worry about those that are not safe and warm.

  Ashley's Card

I chose Ashley's Make It Monday technique to create with.

I didn't have the Papertrey Ink Noted Scalloped Vertical die so I used a frame die from Mama Elephant, that I already owned and turned it into a folded card by just moving up the top edge so it would cut on the fold.

I took the Best Wishes stamp, masked the lines and stamped the image over my card using Soft Stone ink , then adhered the top layer with foam tape.  I added Nuvo Drops then lightly sprinted some fine glitter on top.

Prayers and Flowers

CAS(E) this Sketch #203

The Card Concept #64- Pretty Things 

Hi there and thank you for all your prayers , kind words and thoughts at the loss of a very dear friend!

I couldn't sleep so I made this card at 3am this morning.

I knew I wanted to use the Watercolored Anemones from Wplus9, this pretty patterned paper from My Mind's Eye,on trend 2 that was part of a Christmas gift and my brand new Poppystamps; Tailored Stitches #1788.  I lightly stamped my sentiment using Soft Stone from Papertrey Ink using the Prayer stamp from Simon Says Stamp.

I love these new Tailored Stitched Dies it's one long strip and this one comes with 3! I just placed it where I wanted and then again on the other side, so you can totally make your own design.
I love the flowers from Wplus9 when I showed my husband he thought I painted them :) I told him its all in the stamp.
