March 12 Kits of Occasions

Hello and welcome to the March 12 Kits of Occasions 

I know I say it almost every month : where did March go!!!!

 Jessica was our host for the month of March .

She sent us so many things that are new to me,

along with such pretty papers.

I needed a few shaker cards so I made both of these,

using different patterned paper, backgrounds.

 I added my own sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh.

I added another envelope liner so that I could use more of the pretty patterned paper . I used my envelope liner from Wplus9 then added

a few wiggle eyes. The scalloped edge is from Serendipity Stamps 

by pretty pink posh.

Hello! Quick post, sharing a few more square cards 

that I made using the :

Gina K Designs WREATH BUILDER Clear Stamps and Stencil Bundle 

and Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of The Month MARCH 2018 CHOOSE JOY 

 The wreath builder makes beautifully framed sentiments , I often 

tried to achieve on my own to no avail. Works perfect now.

Not sure if you can see but I added Glossy Accents to both rain-boot dots!

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

I was blessed to share a beautiful weekend with my family in

Palm Springs. It was a thankful weekend that my daughter and her husband( Tom & Nicole) put together,thanking us for helping them after the Vegas massacre.( like any of us would have done anything else :)) Its was fun and emotional....its just the way it's going to be . 

Happy Birthday Nicole! On this day I became a mother because of you. 

I coud not wait to use my Gina K Design Wreath Builder set and my Simon Says Stamp March Kit!

So I made some time for paper today.

I wanted to do something a little different with the wreath builder

set so I took the little gingham stamp from the March Kit and stamped it making a full turn then went around agin doing the same thing. Then I used my Papertrey Ink stamp, to stamp my sentiment making a square frame using the same wreath builder.

Here is my take on the beautiful inspiration photo, I added some blue to my card with Jewel bling.

I die-cut the vase , raised my panel with fun foam. I shaded a piece of paper with brown inks then placed it behind the raised panel.

 When I saw Betsy use this Simple Stems set from Papertrey Ink I knew I had to have it. I have to admit I did spend quite a bit of time on this card, more then normal. Enjoy the hop!

He there! I was just getting use to it being March and now it is more than half over... going way too fast for me.

I added some fun foam behind my die-cut stitched rectangle and then paper pieced the skirt of the mother .

 I masked the "oh" from "oh baby" so that it would just say welcome baby.... I love the "oh baby" too! 

I added some Buttercream Jewels to add a bit of sparkle to my monochromatic card.

Good morning to you! I gave it a try and thought I would have time to make another card I liked but 

looks like this is it. Betsy's card above is adorable, I gave it try with sailboats..... not the best idea ,LOL!

I call it pileup on the high seas because it reminds me of everyday traffic on the California freeways .
