Make It Monday 

Happy almost weekend! 
 This is my card for MIM for PapertreyInk, using a technique of making an edge with a dry brush and some ink or paint.
I used : All papertrey Ink supplies
Stamp: Rhythm & Soul and Basic Gingham
Die : on the side of the card  I used Large Banners , it's the one on the top of the edges I layered them so you could not see the dots in the middle of each scallop . I kinda like it as I only have the small scallop edge. This kinda gives me the med scalloped edge.

Recycled card material and Onesie Die.

This is my MIM card using the PTI Onesie Die. Everyone had such wonderful card for this weeks MIM I found it very difficult to come up with something different. The cards are amazing.

 So I just used the top of the of the onesie die. 

The printed paper is from our anniversary card so is the vellum on the pocket.

The flower is all PTI dies doctored up a bit

Med Beautiful Bloom 2,Love lives here circle die to cut out the middle then gather like Nichole did today on her blog, and Love Lives Here circle for the back. The leaves are just cut apart from Leaf die.

One Nation Under God

Hello, hope everyone is doing well. This is a card I have made many times, but now I am able to add the picket fence from Papertrey Ink. I love the way it added to the flag pole. I should have posted this, the week of the 4th. Oh well here it is. 
 I had three stamps made for me a few years ago, One Nation Under God, Made in America by Marybeth ,(for the back of my cards) and In God We Trust.
Most of the card stock is PTI 
The stamp is Imaginations , its very old and I do love it. I saw it on bay just the other day though.

Make it Monday #22 Multi-Color Stamping With Ink Refills

Hi everyone hope your all doing well.
 Well, for this challenge of MIM, I had to laugh I only have two refills.  So here it is.  I was a bit limited . 
 I used Little Bitty Bird stamp set
 Ink is Hibiscus Burst and Simply Chartreuse 
Card stock and envelope die is PTI. 
Inside the envelope is two soap leaves, from Coldwater Creek, I saw these in the clearance spot and thought they were so neat. My friend said you don’t need those . I said I know but I want them. I put them back. Then I though they would be perfect in the tiny envelope so I said what the heck and as you can see I bought them. The lady said you get a few washes with each one. I know my grandchildren will have fun with them.  They were 10$ but I pd. 3$ for each box. I think there is 12 to a box.
I will add  sentiment when I know what the card will be used for.

Make it Monday #21 Polaroid 2-Step Masking

Hello everyone.  I used two MIM techniques , the main one using this 2-Step Masking and the other is from one of the first few MIM Using Foam. Everything is from PTI, with the exception of the happy birthday stamp. I added the extra leaves on the frame but I was happier with the card before I added them.

Make it Monday #20 Reverse Masking

Hi , I wanted to post something for MIM on Papertrey Ink, so this card will have to be it. I wanted to make another one as I wasn’t crazy about this one. I just don’t  think I’m going to have time to make another one. 
As you can see I used PTI Edgers #3 again, PTI card stock and Anniversary sentiment stamp. The lemon is from Stamps by Judith.  I just got my shipment from the  June release , cant wait to use  the new stamps from PTI.

Make it Monday #19 Rock and Roll Technique

I like this technique , but I really didn’t have to many PTI stamps that I could use it with .  I did love the part about cutting the edge so it will stick out.

 I used PTI : Leaf Prints ,Anniversary Set.  Lemon stamp is from Stamps by Judith. Card stock it PTI, not sure who the printed paper is by.

Anniversary Card

Hi, hope everyone is doing well. My son is home from college so that has been nice. He will be leaving soon though to go on vacation to St. Maarten with his girlfriends family. So I will miss him all over again.

I made this card for my youngest daughter and her husband . They got married on Friday the 13th! I don’t know too many people who can say that. It was his football # in high school and college . It was the only date that worked with his football .  

I think happily ever after is ok for anniversary, or is it just for wedding? Brain block!

The owl punch is from stampin up so is the branch. Card stock , stamp and button are from PTI, pattered paper is from K and Co. 

Now I need to get  busy and make a card for MIM. Take  care.

 Happy Friday! This is a quick thank you card for a friend who is always having us over for dinner. She is a teacher , comes home from work and for some reason wants to cook. We have them over too, but I don’t work outside the home.  I thought the PTI anniversary set went well the K&Co. printed paper.

Can you tell I like my Edgers # 3 Die? This is for the MIM Papertrey Inc Challenge. I am going to use this card for an anniversary card.  I used some glitter tissue  paper, Pear mini stamp and die, PTI card stock,and Edgers # 3 die . I made a card like this one ,without the tissue first. I will post it next. Have a good one!

Birthday Card

Just a quick post of this birthday card for one of my granddaughters who is turning two, today.

We watched three of our granddaughters on Sat and Sun as our daughter Natalie and her husband went out. 

I was at Disneyland all day yesterday with one daughter, Nancy and her family. 

TodayWe will go to Temecula to visit our daughter Nicole and her family for a birthday and grandsons hockey game. I feel very blessed  to be able to see all my daughters and grandchildren in a 4 day span . That does not usually happen. Our son will be home from college Friday. Life is good.

 Hi , I know this is like my other card. I needed to make  a card for my nephew and his wife to  congratulate them on the good new that they are expecting . So I figured I would just crack a whale and the buttons so that I could enter something in the MIM challenge.  Have a great weekend.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a great weekend.
Thank You to all the service men and women, and their families who serve in the USA military! 
I was asked to make some thank you cards for the little league baseball team .  The main stamp I used is so old, its Dots sports border. What I love about this stamp, is I just color the sport I want to use. Like when its football I only color the football and helmet, basketball just the ball.  I thought the Anniversary thank you softened the bold Alpha blocks.  I love these Alpha Blocks I think they help finish a card fast without adding  a lot more.  The main team color was red with some brown. Everything is PTI with the exception of the sports  border.

Whale Wishes

Good morning ! I snuck in a few minutes of paper time , BEFORE chores and errands today. I wanted to get a card off to one of my six sisters, who is a little under the weather. I mostly just wanted to use some of my new things from PTI.
I used Edgers  Die #3 as my waves, and then Whale Wishes mini stamp set and Die. I have so many ideas just not the time.

  This is my card for the MIM Challenge, to make a sympathy card. I tried to keep it simple. I cant believe I did not have a sympathy stamp. Now I do though because I just received my May order with the new anniversary set and it has a sympathy sentiment stamp.  I stamped the outside of the card with what I usually put on the inside of the sympathy card. Hi , I hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day. Well, for the MIM Selective Inking I used : Tea For Two Additions, but I only used the edge of the lined up teacups. That would be my selective Inking. Then I embossed with powder.
Also used Woman Of Life Stamps and just put the three together.

Fathers Day Card

Hello.   My prayers go out to all of those people who we affected by the horrible tornadoes. I know just how fragile life can be, so I try and handle with prayer!
Again with my frog, I know its more for a young boy(I bought it because my grandson was born on leap year) but Im using it anyway for my dad. Everything but the ribbon and dark brown card stock is PTI. Thanks for stopping by.

Tea Party Labels

  Hi.  A friend of mine is having a tea party, bridal shower this weekend . She asked if  I could make some kind of label to show what  flavor is in each pot. I know label is not the correct word to use ,but for the life of me I cant think of what I call them , oh well.  They are very simple , hope its what she is looking for. They were married in Maui 9 yrs. ago.

They now have 3 beautiful girls. 

 I think they are quite the beautiful couple inside and out!

Hi and Happy Friday! I wanted to make a card for a friend of the family .
 She just won high school senior ASB president! Yippee !! 
She worked very hard and had some stiff competition including her best friend.  
She had some leaves in her theme,( long story)that is why I randomly added a few leaves. The rest is because I just got my PTI order and had to use  my new stamps and dies. I thought I would emboss the congratulations so I could add one more card for MIM challenge.

Make It Monday #9: Heat Embossing

Hi this is my card for the Make It Monday Heat Embossing. I guess I don’t have that many backgrounds. Good thing I just ordered the Gingham Background. Well, I just put together a  few of the Birthday Basics to make the white background. I think the powder is a little to sparkly. The flower is on velum then I just used Polka Dot II and  there you have it. Take care and have a good day!

Make It Monday #8: Ink Blending Techniques

 Well, this is one of the cards I came up with for this weeks challenge. Not quite my style but its fun to try to learn new techniques. Maybe I should have blended it a little better.

Just wanted to share. My granddaughter was featured in a book calendar.     I AM  BEAUTIFUL 2011/CAL http://www.bandofangels.com/ Since it's a book we were not sure what month or page she would be onShe ended up on the week of her parents tenth anniversary, I thought that was kinda neat. Delaney is one of 5 soon to be one of 6, OH MY! I happen to think my daughter is supper-mom, my son in law is also supper dad and fireman.

 This is the page she is on.  Delaney has Downs. We say she has many ABILITIES, not disABILITIES. We are so Blessed  to have ten grandchildren.  Good thing we had our children very young.  Because we need a lot of energy..Off topic it's going to be 90 degrees  here today!

March 2011 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop and Challenge

 Hello, and  Happy Friday to everyone.  The challenge for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, is to use embroidery  thread any way we choose. So I choose to just use it as an outline of sorts. I just used  a glue pen and adhered it to the card. Everything I used was PTrey but the ribbon. I  stamped all the buttons with any PTI stamp I had.

Make It Monday Challenge #7: Adding Color to Non-Neutral Cardstock

This is my take on the PTI Challenge for  Monday. Did the best I could with the blending, as my blender pen was dry.  I used all Papertrey Ink supplies , flower stamp and post card are :Aloha.

Clean & Simple Card

For this simple card I used PTI cardstock ,white and raspberry fizz. The die and sentiment are PTI  Love Lives Here . I also used the sm. scallop PTI die. Twine and some Basic ribbon.

Thinking of You ***Maryellen***

My younger sister passed away from cancer over a year ago. She would always buy kitchen towels and send them to whom ever  she thought about when she bought the towel. We found out at her funeral just how many people she bought towels for. LOTS. When I saw this stamp after she passed , it screamed her name.  Had to have it. Just wanted to share.  Take care.

Using Some Old Supplies

I made this over the weekend . I just wanted to take out some things I haven’t used in a while. This punch is from Martha Stewart .  I cut it off the paper then doubled it. Oh I did use my new button die I just got in the mail. I needed a little black in the middle , so I used my Papertrey Ink polka dot borders, for just a little black.

Good morning! I needed a bright card for a friend of mine. I loved Tricia’s http://sunnywithachanceofcrafting.blogspot.com/ card so much , so maybe that is why I did squares, not sure. This is the little  stamp die that comes with the cuttlebug, the other dies are Papertrey Ink white card stock is also Papertrey Ink, grid squares are Stamping Up.

Color Challenge

This is a color challenge , so I thought I would give it a try. I felt a bit limited to what I could make as this is not my color choice. Not too crazy about how it turned out but Im going to enter it anyway. 

I cant wait for my Postmarks stamp set from Papertrey Ink to come in , so I used what I had . Papertrey Ink set....Aloha...because it had this cute postcard.

Make It Monday Challenge #6 Impression Plate Tricks #1

Hi The challenge is to only partially emboss/deboss/ impress an element. I used all Parpertrey Ink products.  Half of the background is Impression Plate, In Bloom. Then I just scored the bottom. The matt stack is also impressed with the other side of In Bloom.
