First Holy Communion Card

First Holy Communion Card
For my grandson, Tommy!

This is without the congratulations.
What do you think with or without?

I needed to make a card for my grandson’s First Holy Communion coming up in May. I was so excited to find this set at Serendipity Stamps. I think it might have been the very first stamp I bought from S.S.(almost a year ago) I know with 12 grandchildren( so far)  I will be using this over and over. I kept it simple because it’s for a boy, I used just a bit of green trim because that's Tommy’s favorite color. Looks like I stamped my congrats a bit askew again.
Paper is from Papertrey Ink

  1. I like the congratulations. I know your grandson will appreciate a note from his grandparents, especially one made by grandma!

  2. What a special time for Tommy! This is a wonderful stamp Marybeth and your coloring is perfection. You know I think I like it without the congratulations. Maybe put that on the inside!

  3. Congratulations on such an important milestone for your grandson. I see that there are already 2 votes, and it is split. Well, I'm not going to help much, because I like them both. But, with so many grandchildren, you can just alternate.

  7. Fabulous card! You did an awesome job of coloring! I like the one with the Congratulations and agree with Cathy that it seems to have better balance. This will be a wonderful card for your grandson and even more special because you made it.

  8. LOVE this Communion card! Could never find the right stamp when I needed it at the time. Ended up using those "blessings" kind of stamps. And such pretty coloring. You're so talented, Miss Mary Beth!
