Mojo Monday 300 & Paper Sweeties Sketch #9

 Happy 300th challenge Mojo Monday!
Congratulations!

Mojo Monday is celebrating their 300th challenge and they have some great prizes . I used myUSA 1776 from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The flowers are from Cheery Lynn Die. Blessing is masked off Easter Blessings from Stamps by Judith. I made this one last night but not enough light to take the photo. Flash just washes out the card for me.

I made this card at 3:00am as the smoke alarm started chirping because of low battery… I wonder why that never happens in the middle of the day just the middle of the night!
I wanted to make a card with a few of the new Paper Sweeties sets I won.  I didn't have a banner stamp but was dyeing to use this sweet set Giddyup . I know not really banner flags... but its what I came up with at 3am.

We spent about 5 days with a few of the kids and their families in Yosemite and I thought I would show you just how beautiful it was. The water was perfect and we had this spot all to ourselves!

  1. Both cards are fantastic. Your Mojo sketch card is beautiful and the Lil' Buckaroo card so sweet. Yosemite is on my bucket list, we spent time a couple years ago at Yellowstone, so almost there. Your photos are fabulous and nothing like the great outdoors especially with family! Happy 4th!

  3. Love both of your cards Marybeth - great panels and use of the sentiments on the 4th card - and the cowboy themed card is too cute!

What wonderful pics of Yosemite - DH and I went there after attending a wedding in SF - we were only there a day - but we loved it - so breathtaking everywhere you look!

  6. Marybeth, can't believe how much I've missed seeing your beautiful work. Must learn how to flag(?) your blog. The first card is so your style, elegant and stunning and the darling buckaroo card, clever and going into my pins!
Now it's my turn to say "you were in my neck of the woods".
I think we were in Bass Lake while you were in Yosemite!

  17. What a great job you did with the Mojo sketch--too many layers for me but you still kept it looking clean and crisp. :) And such a cute idea on your second card!

  18. Awesome pics! Looks like a fun time with some family. ;-) Your cards are great. I like the cowboy card - not bad for 3am! Our smoke alarm is like that, too. I think they purposely program them to only low-battery chirp in the middle of the night. It's the only thing that makes sense to me.
