A Few Ideas , CAS.ology and Moxie Fab

Edited to add…. All the bows were made with a Bow Maker,
one of the very generous gift from

I had to show you the gift  tag I made … you all know
where I got my idea from…
Lil Inkers Design... Folding Tag Die .  I modified the
more on this later.

I had to play along with Lisa as a GD

Yes.. I am using Lil Inkers again. I  love folding the paper and making  sure to move the cut line above the fold and you have a complete folded card. You can do this with all the stitched squares, rectangles and I am sure the circles as well.

This was my first little book card the stamp is from Stampin  Up
The sentiment... Stamps by Judith

I wish this stacked book was my idea but I saw it on Pinterest HERE . The green original is gorgeous.  My card does not do the original justice ..but I had fun trying.
I used my newMum's the Word Stamp Set  and dies from PTI
and my tag sale 3 from PTI . All I did was place
the die on folded paper and made sure NOT to place the cut
line on the fold.then I opened it up and cut from one
corner to the other.

As soon as I saw the lil inkers folded die I thought I could make one with the die I already had …….that way I could spend my money on something else at lil inkers. Folding Tag Die will be faster to make . WARNING the homemade versionPapertrey Ink - Tag Sale #3 one will be a bit smaller and better suited for money as it's a tight fit for gift cards. ( but does work)  I do love the way it turned out!
And look how stinking cute that  tree is!

I am also entering this in the

Thanks for stoping by I know it was a long post with lots of photos. But I just had to share my little idea…..
( only after I asked Laura Pryor if she would mind)
I figured Papertrey Ink would be just fine :)

  13. What a great set of projects Marybeth, and I love the folded tag. I had a similar idea but I stuck the two tags together rather than do a folded cut. Your idea will make it much better.

  18. Love all of your tags. Your style is always so elegant. Thanks for your comments on my blog. Colleen and I really had fun and a bit of frustration with SAF this year because of computer problems and not being able to post our cards until late Sunday night. Sounds like you gals had so much fun. I am going home today after 3 weeks of being together, one week at my house and 2 down here in Portland. You'd think we would be tired of each other.
