Lil Inkers Design Third Birthday Party.

Happy Third Birthday Lil Inkers
Whatever would we do without you!
I use one of your products on almost all my cards
I think everyone knows which one I use the most.

You can hop on over to the blog and see all the party news .
I used this sweet little set I bought a long time ago, and the product I use almost all the time…. Lil Inkers stitched rectangles. I know the rest of you love these dies as well.
Have to run, going to our granddaughters 3rd birthday party!
In Culver City they do things big, pony rides petting zoo all in the yard. When my daughter turned 3 it was cake and family.

Hope you have a wonderful Blessed day!

  1. LOL. I know what you mean about parties being big these days...when my kids were little, getting a cake from a bakery compared to a home made cake was really a big deal! Love your card with the sweet retro little girls, just your style and I always love those stitched rectangles and squares Marybeth. I like how you used the same balloons and added the sparkly sequins.

  3. Love your retro card Marybeth and those stitched rectangles really are gorgeous. Wish LilInkers had a supplier in the UK!
I love how you have sequins to match the colour of your inks - makes those balloons really pop. Enjoy the party.

  6. Well, over here in the Netherlands we do birthdayparties big and small, depending on one's budget.
I used to do craftingworkshops with our daughter's birthdays and activity things/ sports with our son's.
Well, now they're 16 and 13 so they don't 'do' birthdayparties anymore,
They just invite some friends for cake and a movie etc. Chatting and laughing and staying up as late as possible, ha,ha.
    Anyway, your card is sublime!!
Love the product you use a lot on your cards!!! :-)
And I like your coloured (!) images with the sequins too, they add such a nice touch to your images!
    Enjoy your granddaughter's 3rd birthday!

    Bye,

    Marjolein

  11. Yes, times have changed right? When I was little that is exactly what we did and loved it, when Ashleigh turned 10, we flew to Disneyland for the day! Your card is so sweet and has that fabulous retro look that I love so much. Just too sweet with those stitched squares and rectangles.

  12. I love your cute birthday card Marybeth! Because of all your wonderful cards, I finally took the plunge and bought the Lil Inker stitched rectangles, squares and circles. I just love the way they add that extra special touch to cards.
When my granddaughter turned one last year, my daughter had all kinds of backyard games, including a dunk tank for the bigger kids. It was crazy over-the-top! This year, it's toned down a lot - just family.

  14. Marybeth I love this birthday card! My knew favorite lil inker dies are the stitched circles and the squares and rectangles are right at the top of my list too!! I use the rectangles the most though especially to line the insides of my cards with that little extra detail! I love the sequins on this card - great idea for the balloons!

  21. Oh, this is so very sweet. I love how you colored those sweet children, and how many Lil Inkers products you were able to use! I guess I am a culprit on the big birthday party circuit--I always did quite a bit for my girls when they were younger, but it was really more for me, I think.

  22. Love the way you put all of those stitched shapes together. There's no shame in loving them, especially when they're so stinkin' cute. I know I do. And I'm digging the way you used sequins to make your balloons sparkle. Cute idea!

For what it's worth, I keep my kids birthday parties really small, except when it comes to their treats. My son's first birthday had six kinds of homemade cupcakes and a sprinkle bar, and that rainbow cake in the inspiration image is actually the one I made for my little girl's first last month. Still, I bet the petting zoo was awesome!
