Happy Saint Nick !
Today is the feast day of Saint Nicholas . As a child we always hung our Christmas stockings on Nov. 5 and woke up to stockings filled with goodies. My children and my entire family still do this.
Any of you??
Wplus9 has some new stamps , cant wait until mine come in the mail.
I made a few simple tags for my daughter . We were at the store and she wanted to BUY some….. I told her I have everything to make any kind of tag she wants.
I made these Yonder Star tags for my daughter too.
from Waltzingmouse stamps.
I still have plenty other tags just not posted.
Guess I should have posted a card with St. Nick.
My heat embossed tag is stamped with Woodland Wreaths and
Fresh Cut Florals from Wplus9 Stamps.
The tag die is from Papertrey Ink and the circle is from Lil Inkers Stitched circles. The ribbon was a gift from a friend.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hope you stay warm,
if its cold by you!
Thanks for stoping by!
ReplyDeleteWonderful tags, Marybeth...I may have to CAS those easy tags for mass production! Love the red and white!
Sweet tags, Marybeth! Love the reds and whites together at Christmas, and you've used them so beautifully. You are so sweet to make these for your daughter! We didn't do St. Nick's day when I was a kid, and I was so jealous of my friends who did! Should have done it with my kids, but life got in my way... Gorgeous tags and elegant as always. Bev
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness!! your tags are absolutely fabulous, Marybeth! so glad you were able to play along with CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful tags Marybeth - I'm sure your daughter will be thrilled with them!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty pretty tags Marybeth!! Can you believe she wanted to buy some!!??!! My sweet DIL always says how much can I pay you ~ silly girl. I tell her a million dollars please or a priceless hug ;)
ReplyDeleteWait, your daughter wanted to buy some tags?! That's crazy! And I'm so intrigued by your last set of layered tags. They're just like cards! In a tag. With a sentiment on top and more info underneath. I really love that!! I loved the layered tags that I saw on Maile Belle's blog last month, but you've taken it a step further with giving that bottom layer a purpose. SO cool! What a brilliant idea, Marybeth!
ReplyDeleteMarybeth, I saw your tag over at WPlus9 and it caught my eye immediately. I love it and was super thrilled (and not all that surprised) to see that you were the creative mind behind it. Adore the other cards you made for your daughter, too. I love the addition of the to/from.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your tag sets are just perfect. How could your daughter ever think to buy a tag?? So glad you set her straight with these beauties.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful tags!!! We always hang our stockings on Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the preview picture Marybeth, I knew this was for the WPlus9 Monday Mood Board challenge...I have been looking at that inspiration photo for several days now and I totally recognize the gorgeous red ribbon I think you based your tags on. So pretty...love this one!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tags, Marybeth! I absolutely love how you made the second set with the To: From: on the bottom tag. Very creative!
ReplyDeleteMarybeth all of your tags are just gorgeous. I love how you combined the WPlus9 stamps with the tag and then Yonder Star--just fabulous! Thank you so much for joining us this week at CASology!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that tradition--what fun! Love your tags, Mary Ann--especially the red circle ones! How could your daughter consider buying tags?!--LOL

ReplyDeleteThe CAS design and that gorgeous ribbon are so perfect for your circle tags. Love the idea of double tags and really like how you added 'to' and 'from' on the second tag.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Christmas tags! When growing up my Mom would have us put our shoes out on Dec.5th. The next day on Dec. 6th we'd wake to little presents in our shoes! Such wonderful memories!:-)
