This top one is for someone I know loves to work with wood.
This is a very simple one layer card with hand made snow ( glitter and glue). I just bought this little stamp at my local stamp store half off , its wood mounted … just something about the wood stamps I still love. The best part about this card is it will be easy to mail. I wasn't going to post the colored one and then last min. decided to post both.
Maybe this is too simple … I am still on the fence.
Hope you enjoy your day!
stamps; Rubbermoon , Stampabilities, and Stampendous
The stamp is adorable, I know what you mean about wood, it's almost vintage! Love both cards, but you know me, the woodsy colorful one wins my heart!
ReplyDeletegorgeous stamp Mary beth and love the look from this card.
ReplyDeletehugs to you.

These are both adorable Marybeth, the woodgrain background looks terrific! I still enjoy my wood stamps too, probably always will! Thanks for the heads up about linking my card to the MM challenge ;)
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cards Marybeth, the wood is so fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSUPER Adorable cards Marybeth! My fave is the one with wood, I have to try that someday :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are fabulous but I especially love the woodgrain with touches of color on your snow people. It's wonderful to have plenty of one layer cards too. It sure makes mailing during the holidays easier.
ReplyDeleteI love them both--so fun to see how different a card can be using the same stamp!
ReplyDeleteThe first card has a 'warm' feel to it and your second card a more 'wintry' one. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, sometimes less is more, so don't fret about whether your card is good enough or not.
They're both so sweet AND funny!
I would send both!
And the receiver will be so pleased with these cards, also because they know that you made these yourself! :-)
Bye,
Marjolein
I love both cards, but think the 2nd one steals my heart with it's simplicity! And I know what you mean about the wood mounted stamps...they are what I learned on and I still love them! :0)
