Create a Birthday Card
I almost forgot to enter in this challenge.
I would say my card is clean and layered.
Papertrey Ink felt.
I was not sure I was going to get the
but I am so glad I did. I was just messing around making these first two, not thinking outside the box or anything. I Love these dies and I know how to sew on a machine but I also love hand stitching. I used to do a lot of counted cross stitching years ago.
My reading glasses fit in this one above and I thought it would be perfect for: tampons…. did
I just say that on my blog! Shhhh!
Photos all taken at night.
After I posted this I did not like how low the flowers were so I moved them up and like it much better. It almost looked like they were falling off.

I was reminded of this March Inspiration file from Joyful Creations with Kim’s post. I honestly made this card in less than 20 minutes , thats fast for me. I combined some old with new. I love embossing with dies and that is what I did again with this Papertrey Ink - Cover Plate: Deco Die .
Thanks for stoping by. I know my visits to friends have been
random , I am sorry.

ReplyDeleteMarybeth, that is one of the prettiest cards I've ever seen (and I mean that!) Seriously, exquisite is the word that comes to mind, and breathtaking! It's going straight to my Pinterest board for inspiration! Btw I do agree that the flower looks better higher up. And I love the cute little felt purses. I really wanted that die but just couldn't fit it into my budget. I'm hoping to pick it up next month, fingers crossed :)
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous and the coin purses are so cute! Love the aqua and kraft colors together. And can I just say the tampons idea is actually brilliant--a great way to disguise something that can be a little awkward to carry around. Your work is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the coin purses!!! And I'm going to remember that idea of impressing with the Art Deco plate teamed up with Gatsby Glamour...absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes...I'll have some tampons in a coin purse in my backpack:).
Your cards are crisp and clean and wonderful Marybeth. Perfect in fact!
ReplyDeleteYes to moving the flowers up, makes for perfection, which I have come to expect from you! (LOL). And the coin purses are so cute, I'm so sorry I didn't get the dies. Maybe next month. Every one I've seen you all create makes me want to do some. Tampons? I'm past that stage! Glasses yes, tampons no!
ReplyDeleteOh my...you are just amazing and so stinkin' creative! I love your sweet coin purse and that eye glass case, genius my sweet friend! Your card is about as classy and elegant as it can be...I love all your wonderful creations. No worries about commenting, it happens when it happens.
ReplyDeleteI just love your card. Once I saw the flowers moved up, I agree that it is better that way, but I still thought the first way looked pretty good. I have that set, but have not yet broken it out. Your coin purses are very cute--for whatever you are trying to carry...
