A Much Needed Masculine Card

In honor of Memorial Day and all those that serve this country,
I thought I would make a red, white and blue card.

This wonderful sketch is by Lori Turner

The tag opens up and you can put a gift card or money in it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a beautiful Memorial Day in the U.S.
We are having a houseful Tuesday, for lunch so I spent most of the weekend getting ready for our company.

I stamped my stripes using my favorite Pinstripe Backgrounder stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps. All stamps and dies are from Waltzingmouse Stamps today. Ocean BoundMan of the Hour  Stitched Tags Di Folding Tag Die. I was in need of masculine cards. I just might make a few more just like this one.
The cards stock is from Stampin Up Baked Brown Sugar.

I am also adding this to Seize The Birthday topping is Tag

Hope you find time to play along Seize The Sketch.
Take Care, and thank you for stopping by.

  13. Waltzing Mouse needs you on their design team! No one, but no one, can show off the perfection of well designed stamps like you can. If I had made this card, I probably would reproduce it ad nauseam for all the males I know. The three tags one on top of the other, and all the subtle texture gives this card lots to appreciate.

It's so wonderful that you are in our stamping community. Not only are you insanely talented, but you are equally generous with your attention to others work. Your comments are the best.

Thank you for being in my world. I've been a little occupied, so my commenting has not kept pace with all your beautiful creations, but I wouldn't miss them for anything.

Hope your big entertaining went well, but I bet it went fabulously. Just being with you would be enough to have the very best time! You are a blessing.
