Kara took the pretty photo of the kit for all of us.
Welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions for June! The theme is Wedding and Anniversary, and I am the host for this month!
Our guest designer is the very sweet and talented Lindsey from Occasional Crafting
We are 12 friends and designers , each month one person from the group sends out a kit to everyone. At the end of that month we post the cards that we all made from the same kit. Its fun to see the same products used in different ways.
Thought I would show you the 12 messy piles before each one got wrapped in tissue and put in an envelope.
These fun little birds above are from Mama Elephant
The gold embossed Calligraphy Scroll below is from
Paper Source
The stamp below is from Impression Obsession Love Is
The Confetti dots are from Paper Source, I stamped them 3 times in different colors.
My husband and I celebrated 38 years this June. I gave him this card below, I know lots of pink. ( I got married when I was 12, jk)
I love this outhouse from Impression Obsession I think it makes a fun wedding card. Its silver heat embossed.
On the card below I used the tissue the kit was wrapped in, behind the Impression Obsession heart die cut.
Be sure to head on over to the 12 Kits Of Occasions Blog To see the list of all the designers and their sneak peeks.
My favorite day of the month to see what you all do with all these luscious goodies! Every card equal to the one before. Lovely, precisely perfect, some even sweetly cutesy! But my favorite shot is the one with all the neatly wrapped packages ready to send out. Fun, fun, fun! And Beautifully done! Off to see what all the girls did! Bravo, Marybeth!

ReplyDeleteI so look forward to these each month to see what everyone has done. I'm trying to talk my two stamping buddies into doing something like this...but they are both such busy ladies...maybe at a later date.
Almost forgot, as always, your cards are all so well done...especially like that outhouse card...must put that stamp on my wish list.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful kit Marybeth. It was like one great big present - everything beautifully wrapped. Love that pic of them all lined up getting ready to be mailed. I bet you felt like one of Santa's elves. I'm thinking... oh.. that is what i was supposed to do here. Love how you used the cie cut outs for confetti in the shaker, The little curls of glitter on the last, and your clean and elegant style. You make everything look so classy. You really spoiled us this time!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 38 years, something to be proud of. All of the cards are gorgeous and I live the silver embossing.
ReplyDelete38 years! Congratulations. Such fun it must have been to be a child bride! Love love love all your cards. They are all fantastic. Thank you so very much for this incredible kit. I had so much fun and it was so incredibly easy to create with. One of the most fun parts was that there were whimsical as well as elegant stuff, so I could do a little of both.
ReplyDeleteFirst...congratulations on 38 years! Such an accomplishment...second, I LOVED your kit! I had such fun on vacation with it and was able to make my cards with lots to spare! I love your outhouse card...and how smart to use that soft pretty tissue paper behind the heart die cut. Sure wish I had thought of that one! Thanks for a fabulous month Marybeth!

ReplyDeleteThis has been such a wonderful month. Loved all the fabulous items in your kit! And congrats on 38 years with your hubby. Love the sweet card you made for him. All your cards are just marvelous! Love them all but my favorite probably is the last one--using the tissue behind the hearts and the side sentiment and sweet bouquet in the corner all create such a gorgeous design. Thanks so much again for sending such an amazing kit. It was so easy to work with and I loved all the great supplies.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome kit. Those birds on the first card are so adorable.

What a wonderful collection of cards celebrating love!
ReplyDeleteI loved the kit... the colors were beautiful and soft, the images so fun to work with! First I love your outhouse card :) I just loved that stamp but couldn't figure out how to fluff it up... putting the "happy" on it was the perfect choice! I love the little shaker you created with the word bubble, and then the tissue paper behind the die cut heart of hearts looks great! Happy Anniversary my dear :)
ReplyDeleteI think this is the coolest group ever!!! I so wish I had friends so I could belong in something like this. It looks like so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy anniversary, Marybeth! You never cease to amaze me with your wonderful cards--love them all, but especially the one for your hubby & the one with I Corinthians 13. I have that verse in a stamp--need to gold emboss it!
ReplyDeleteHow did I not actually comment on this post?! Shame on me! I thought I had. Anyway, I loved seeing how you used your kit. I've always wondered, do you just put together things first or do you have cards that come to mind as you gather items? Thank you again for inviting me this month. I love love loved it!
