Didn’t Set Out to Make a Christmas Card

Muse this week is the talented

Hello sweet friends! I loved this card by Michele and wanted to give it a try.
I had no idea I was going to end up with a Christmas Card!

I know you are thinking my card looks nothing like Michele’s. Well, it started out in black with a butterfly,
then it looked too much like Michele’s minus the patterned paper.  I changed it about a dozen times.

I remember I had this beautiful paper from Jeanne in one of our 12 Kits.

We’ve had a steady flow of rain all day today, what a blessing!
Happy I don’t have to drive anywhere today because Californians do not know how to drive in the rain!
I think by 8am we had over 80 rain related traffic accidents :(

  1. Well this means you have one less Christmas card to worry about. I love your take on Michelles card. I am thinking of doing this one as well but I keep coming back to mmmm have that stamp now to find a paper just like it. I often struggle to get past the card I see to creating my own. Love the die you have used for the flower, very pretty.

  3. Great take on Michele's card. This is one gorgeous Christmas card, and you're ahead of the game in my book! Glad to hear you're getting a bit of rain; can you imagine Californians driving in snow, lol??!!! That flower is lovely in such a rich red, and I'm loving the little sentiment panel. Very elegant and beautiful. Bev

  6. This is so perfect as a Christmas card. Love your flower and the background paper. Can you believe all this rain. It's fantastic, even though I had do drive home from the airport in it. Perhaps it rained today because I posted a card with an umbrella?
