Happy Monday!

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

Melissa shows us some fun watercoloring with inks.
The card below follows Melissa's technique

The card above is the one I used Melissa’s Technique

To make my notecards I used the Papertrey Ink - Tag Sale: Quilted Die I just place folded paper below the cut edge and you get this sweet noted card . I wanted the stitched edge to show, so I cut the center piece just a bit under 3 1/4 th.   The stitched edge even shows up on the inside!
Of course my idea came from this darling Make It Market Kit: Don’t Forget to Write

Since my granddaughter will be coming over soon I made this second quick, notecard to add to the set with cut and watercolored blooms I already had.

Hope you enjoy your day!

  16. Marybeth, my computer was finally updated, so now I can comment on your wonderful cards once again. Sorry that I've been quiet so very long. First, thank you for the hint about using Tag Sale: Quilted for a note card. I actually like your version with the stitched square a bit better than the one in the kit. Both cards are fabulous in their own special way - the first is a little more modern and the second is so elegant. How blessed you are to have your family nearby.
