A Few Things to Share

 with Lexi Daly .
Cant wait to give this another try!

It just dawned on me I can add my tags to
Play Here

Hello dear friends !
Getting this in before I watch a few of the grandkids.

I have to admit I was in a hurry to make this so
I used a larger stamp.

Look at this puzzle I found at Hobby Lobby yesterday  50% off!
Do you see, it’s a puzzle with vintage CARDS! I am going to
make time for this. ( I hope)

I made these ordainments a few weeks ago and thought I should hurry and post them.
I glued about 5 layers with and a vellum layer in the back.
Very much inspired by the  Jennifer McGuire video.
They are so pretty in person as you can see the light behind them.

Thank you and God bless you all!

  1. I love that puzzle!!
My grandmother used to put puzzles together for gifts for people.
They didn't have a lot of money so she would buy them and glue them to cardboard for gifts...
back then puzzles didn't cost much of nothing!
And I bet those ornaments will be gorgeous on the tree!
    Love the paper too! :)

  8. Beautiful projects today, Marybeth. And, that is an amazing puzzle. My mom was always doing a puzzle when we were growing up. She would love a puzzle like this. I was famous in our family for being unable to do a single puzzle piece.

  14. I love the beautiful wrapping paper idea and shakers are my fav. Love the idea of shakers as tags not just cards, cause hey who doesn't love a shaker, lol. I used to looooove to do jigsaw puzzles, made and framed one for my mom and mother in law many, many years ago. Seems the older we get the less time we have for the simpler things in life. Maybe I should pick up that hobby again, great stress reliever, lol. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  17. Gorgeous ornaments! I love the idea of backing them in vellum! I think the large stamp is a perfect way to get the job done and it looks fantastic! What a great puzzle! We usually have one out around Christmas time - the nice thing is it doesn't all have to get done at once.
