I embossed two leaves with gold embossing powder then fussy cut. I colored one in with Peerless Watercolors and left one white .

Marybeth, this card is not only stunning but so calming and soothing for a sympathy card. Saw this technique on JM's blog but haven’t tried it yet. You nailed it!
