Be Still & Know Slimline Card and Rope Baskets

Hello and happy weekend to you ! Thank you all so much for the kind words on the passing of my father.

I took out some of my Greetery stamps and dies, along with my Simon Says Stamp Slim Line Envelope die.

I used Botani Cuts die and added some larger leaves from Lovely Blossoms.

I posted this on My Instagram
I wanted to make something for each of the siblings ( I am one of 9) I asked for shirts of my father’s, thinking for a quilt. I wanted to try making rope baskets and then got the idea I could cut strips of my dads shirts and wrap them around the rope and make one for each sibling. Well I completed them in time . Just a little something of my dad for each to have .  I made these using my Bernina sewing machine zigzagging round and round I wrapped the shirt piece around the rope as I was sewing.

Thank you for the visit and I hope you have a wonderful day.

  7. Your card took my breath away, Mb! It should be saved as an Easter table decoration year after year! And your memorial gift baskets for your siblings are beautiful! What a fantastic idea! A little bit of you, too, was woven into each basket as you spent time making them with love and care! Bless you! Happy Easter! Hugs, Darnell

  10. Many people like to wear full-body sportswear when exercising. In fact, proper sportswear will not only reduce the probability of sports injuries. Sportswear is still a sense of ritual. When you are struggling whether to start exercising, you can try to put on a set of sportswear first, then this small step may save your exercise plan for the day. So if you don’t want to exercise, put on a set of ,,sportswear.Niksa
