I needed a birthday card, so I used my Big Day - Today stamp from

We are sad to say goodbye to two ladies that were with us from the start: Renee Lynch and Kara Vrabel They will be missed and always have a spot on the design team and in our hearts, ALWAYS!

They both needed this time, for family.

I tried to keep my card kinda monochromatic like Debbie’s first tag, then instead of elegant,
 I went with ...cute... like Debbie’s second tag.
 Not really sure what those two birds or penguins are doing up, on that dinosaur, 
but it looks like they are having fun! :)

I made a card last year with a  square sequin banner.  I loved Betsy tip about adhering a few sequins hear and there if you want to help keep them balanced out. Great tip!

 

Hi! Hope you all had a great week. Busy week for us. 

I had tooth problems with pain I have never experienced before :( All better now and on the mend. It was also DH birthday week. The one time I make tacos for everyone, the kind you fry in the pan and it’s a big group. 

Not a big fan of frying anything, but once a year if fine.

I am loving my little Cake Plates Die and I was very surprised to see it didn’t sell out, its darling , has so much detail and comes with two plates.

The cake is from an older set Tremendous Treats: Birthday I still have my eye on the delicious cupcake stamps set.

 I am having so much fun with “ Fun Foam” Ive used it in the past but I think I only stamped on it . Now I just use the foam by itself on layered with paper on top.

I used some old paper from my stash and my water spritzer.

It seems like yesterday that my husband and I were at Disneyland with our young children, now children and grandchildren. We have been going a few times a month just the two of us. As much as I miss the kids and wish they were with us I do LOVE going alone with my husband.  It’s like before we were married and before we had our family.
 We were at Disneyland the other night and I  was thinking  how fast the time has gone by. In a FLASH! It made me kinda sad , I think when we are young we just don’t  have a clue how fast it will all go by. Cherish each day! 
Now life is full of beautiful grandchildren .

Hello, just popping in with a quick card for CAS (E) in honor of a sweet  talented friend, becoming a member of the talented DT. Michele Ferguson! Congrats again Michele!

A blend of old and NBUB! The “ Pond Frogs" are brand new from Poppystamps new spring line.The sentiment is an oldie from Papertrey Ink : Boy Basics Frog Hop Stamp.

I used fun foam a gain, so fun and easy just glue the die to the cut foam and that’s it. Or you could just layer the frog about 3 or 4 times.

How hard can it be to cheer this guy on!

I made this quick card using the foam . I’ve used foam before and not sure what I don’t use it more often, it’s much easier than trying to cut up a bunch of foam tape from a roll. This is my first time using these numbers and the shirt NBUS! Love the way you can stamp your team colors because it is a two step stamp! Why did I wait so long to use it!

 It’s been a very busy week at our house. I thought it was going to slow down a bit after the new year. I guess not with a huge family. I do love it .

I chose to use a darling card by Nichol for my inspiration. I loved the clouds she had he in background. There are so many gorgeous cards to be inspired by, very hard to choose. If you don’t already follow Kara’s Pinterest, File you should !

I wanted to add a better picture , but my computer is acting up a bit. This will be a birthday card for my son as he is going to London for work, around his birthday.

I wanted to make a few easy young boy cards and thought this Spyro was a neat stamp for a boy. We could all use a few fast and easy cards, right!

For this challenge we were asked to use something we haven’t used in a while. I chose to use my little water spritzer and watercolor paper. All I did was ink up my stamp, right before I stamp it on the paper I spritzed it with just a bit of water.  When it was dry I added Glossy Accents.
