Papertrey Ink Hop and a Friend

Kind of a long post for the hop.
May 2017 Blog Hop Inspiration

Hi friends! I have another felt backed material ( The Felt Pod) coin purse for the hop!  Some of the felt from Papertrey Ink .
I thought the colors were almost spot on.

Just giving you a little idea on how I do the zipper,
so easy! Hope this helps!

The coin purse above is the one I did a few weeks ago,
the one below is for the hop.

Look who came for a quick visit : Darnell!!! We have been trying to get together for sometime now and something always came up. Darnell is, just as I thought, even better! We kept hugging and jumping from one topic to the next.  We could have talked all day! Darnell is a sweetheart and I am so glad she looked me up, to see how close I was, to her nieces graduation. What a blessing to meet such a wonderful blog friend in person!

Take Care!

  32. I know I've already commented on this post Marybeth, but just wanted to thank you for the info on The Felt Pod...I just placed an order and am bound and determined to make some of these coin purses! I've had the die for over a year now and have done nothing with it, but after seeing the beautiful results you got with the printed fabric/felt, I just couldn't resist and am so excited now for my order to come!! I will definitely put some pictures up on my blog when I get one completed! Thanks again for the info and helpful tips on doing the zipper...appreciate it! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!! :0)
