Pumpkins and Fall

Play Here

Welcome to another Serendipity Stamps Challenge !
We have a guest designer with us, please welcome Julia Stainton.

The DT challenge was to use any kind of liquid glue to create texture.  You just need to have a fall themed card and at lest one  stamp or die from Serendipity Stamps on your card.

I have to say ...I love this card and wish you could see it in person. Some of you may know this stamp is one of my favorite stamps!  Yes, I know I have lots of favorites.
I heat embossed with gold embossing powder then colored it in with my Tim Holtz distressed markers and a water pen. After that was dry I added Glossy Accents kinda thick in some spots. My cut oval is watercolor paper.

The sale this time is 40% off coupon for the highest priced item in your cart good through October 8th the code is:  40fromhigh1014

Thank you so much for stoping by and taking the time to comment and play along.

Lindsey Larsen from Occasional Crafting... Welcome Lindsey! We are so excited you joined the group!

This month we also have a lot of the past guest designers joining us, using their leftovers.
Enjoy!

I will be entering this one below Catered Crop Red

All but this red card have either and or:
 Heat embossing / Glossy Accents.

Yep, I decided to make all boy cards with my leftovers! My girls are always asking for young boy cards , so I decided to make cards that were much needed.

I used all papers from the past kits, I even used the back side of white card stock that had sentiments stamped on it. The one thing not in the kits was the 5$ stamp set from Papertrey Ink

Doing Something A Little Different

new MIM video by Melissa Phillips

Moxie Fab World

Hi, Hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend. We finally enjoyed some fall like weather and it was heaven sent. In a few days its back to heat wave. So thankful for the beautiful weekend!

This was fun and I loved the way the gold embossing powder melted on the glass. I liked it so much I thought why not just roll a small clear glass candle in the Versa Mark and emboss it all.  I did and that is the small gold candle next to my painted jar. So much fun! I sorta did it in stages as the day went on. Started first thing in the morning. Thanks again Papertrey Ink  and Melissa

MIM is like a little mini free online class, love it!
Go check out the video!

Gayatri Murali designed this adorable card /tag!

This lower one shows a bit more of the gold embossing.

Hello! I painted my background lightly and brightly! I found some card stock in my stash that had the words : Beautiful Song.... I thought it went perfectly with my sentiment from Serendipity Stamps !
Take care!

Combining two challenges on one post.

MIM by Danielle

Not a good choice to use Stitches & Swirls Stamp  because it looks too much like the stamped embossing, that is already on the toilet paper. It's not! but it sure looks like it!
 I do love that stamp!

This is my Second Card.
I made both casts yesterday and decided to paint this one.

This card above has sparkle it’s just not showing up in my photograph,  its embossed with pearlized embossing powder.

I used some of my Serendipity Stamps word dies on both cards.
I think the word Jingle with the silver twine kinda looks like music notes. I love this Santa from Serendipity Stamps .

Thanks for stopping by !

Looks like butter, but it's not!

 Happy first day of autumn!

This weeks MIM Video is by : Danielle I have to say I was impressed with the outcome, no pun intended! :)  Fun video, Thanks!

It reminds me of a butter press or embosser I have.
I wish you could see this in person. I left the card alone because I thought the embossed image was all you needed to look at.

I have to go watch the football game. You will have to go watch the video to see how I did this.

Have a blessed week!

An Attempt At Paper Weaving

Ashley Cannon Newell gave us this fun video on paper weaving.

I did a good job messing this one up with the added glitter, not liking that!

I also want to say Happy Birthday to a sweet friend and teammate Sharron, I hope you have a wonderful birthday Monday!

Hi! I tried two times with this paper weaving, just couldn’t come up with what I had in my head. I have to say some of you made stunning cards using this weaving. I used Papertrey Ink stamps and dies for both cards. Im in a hurry , I will try to post the links later.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
The heatwave finally broke and we are now in the 80 and it cools down a bit at night ...its heaven compared to 104 and above for 4 days.

CardMaker Blog Hop

Welcome to the

The card above is  made with the leftover watercolored die cut piece

I am adding this to The Cutting Edge Challenge #10
I went with the beautiful fall colors.

I watercolored my paper, ( I made a stencil from the negative piece so I had an idea when to change colors) die cut with the leaf die.  Recut using green card stock, adhered it to my brown card stock  then added the watercolor pieces to the green outline like a puzzle. Very easy and so much fun!

Poppy Stamps will be giving away this set of dies to one lucky winner. You have one week to leave a comment, the winner will be announced on the blog September 29, the more you comment the better your chance to win. Good Luck!

You should have arrived from:  Sherry Hester’s Blog  next on the hop is: Piali Biswas’s Blog If you lose your spot you can always go  to the Poppystamps

SSCB#35 - Summer's Last Hurrah!!
The design team was asked to use a personal photo as inspiration.
You just need to use a Serendipity Stamp or die on your project! Hope you will join us, you could win 20$ off your order.

When you see this barn you know you are getting close to Yosemite!
I took it with my iPhone and of course the driver wouldn’t stop!

Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite National Park

This is a photo I took while on vacation in Yosemite, earlier this summer. When I see this, I see the hand of God.
God has blessed this country with so much beauty! This photo inspired me to use this Flag stamp and saying :

We went to Yosemite with our three girls and their families, our son Richard couldn’t make it. The picture was taken on a day my husband and I decided to go for a drive and a few hikes. So glad we did because it was heavenly!
The sale this time is free shipping on any U.S. order over 15$ still the best shipping deal in town!

I stamped the flag three times:
Once on the card stock
Once on patterned paper fussy cut the star square
Then I stamped it on watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Ranger distressed inks ...I used a wet brush to spread the ink in the red lines, then fussy cut that part of the flag.

Cant wait to see what the rest of the talented DT made, you can check them out here:
