December Kit

Hello and welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions 

Michelle Leone was our host for the month of December .

She sent us such a beautiful kit filled with so much color and beautiful blooms.

I am doing this write up late at night as I have been busy visiting with family and friends.

I love this last card I made and it all came together so fast with everything done from the kit.

Its Christmastime

 Look at this darling kit from Tracey!

Hi friends! We are running a little behind with the November kit this month due to a post strike.

Our host this month is Tracey McNeely! So many darling items in the kit and ready to go! I loved it!  

I used my Papertrey Ink gift tag dies to make this card using some of the fun Christmas patterned paper the Tracey included its the kit! 

Used some of my Poppystamps dies and my daughters: Merry Christmas stamp she designed in her own writing.

Faire Tales

Hello and welcome to the the August 12 Kits of Occasions !

Our host for the month is Birgit : Crafting While I Wait.

As you can see from the photo above Birgit sent some darling

images and beautiful papers. I ended up keeping all my cards

monochromatic . I did a bit of coloring and added shimmer 

and Glossy accents to most cards.

Welcome to the April 12 Kits of Occasions post!

 Welcome to our Guest Designer: Rosemary Dennis

Beautiful photo taken by Lindsey!

Lisa sent a kit that is full of: soft colors, sweet images and 

lots of little birds. I had such an enjoyable time creating.

I love the way, the card above turned, out simply framed and uncolored! I used :

 Mama Elephant, Clearly Creative Die along with:Papertrey Ink - Mix & Mat: Flourishes

I was so happy to see And I Think To Myself  stamp included in the kit , it was a stamp I had asked

 the owner of Serendipity Stamps to create and she did!

I decided to rip the edges of the polka dot paper to expose 

some of the white, I was pleasantly pleased.

Faith and Blooms

Welcome to the :12 Kits of Occasions Blog Post

 This was such a beautiful faith filled kit. I so enjoyed using

and some cards have already been sent out.

On the card above, I fussy cut the lower edge of this beautifully stamped 

and embossed image then lightly watercolored with my zig pens

These cards pretty much made themselves.

Modern Petunias  from Wplus9 also  A2 Envelope Liner Die

I used the envelope liner on quite a few of my cards, its a nice way to use some more of the

patterned paper 

The envelope liner is from : Concord & 9th,  Stamp used was Blooms Fill In ... that Lindsey stamped. 

I loved how she stamped some of her own background papers, with the help of little ...Meg! Thank you both for a beautiful Kit!

Snow Day

Hi there! End of the month and that means we have our :12 Kits of Occasions post.  Jeanne Jachna

It sure was fun working with winter images. Here in Ca we just can't t seem to get much of a winter. 

Its has been and will be, in the high 80's all week! Beautiful weather but not great for a nice cozy fire :)

Jeanne took on this months kit without much notice and still managed to send out lots of goodies!

December 12 Kits of Occasions

Hello and Welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions,

 this months host is Tracey McNeely

Tracey sent out a kit, full of darling papers that I have not seen 

or used before and I have lots of leftovers for later. Almost 

everything in the the kit from Tracey was new to me so that was fun.

 Tracey did all this with a broken collarbone...... Thank you Tracey! 

I used the sequins and colored paper from the kit, the die is from Papertrey Ink . 

I needed a birthday card,  I stamped the sentiment from

Concord & 9th

I added a bit of shimmer to the dress with Wink of Stella

Very simply and fun card

I cut the paper with a Poppystamps die and added a few flowers included in the kit.

 Included in the kit, was this gold embossed the sentiment. So easy and fun to create.

Hello and welcome to the October, 12 Kits of Occasions!

Nancy Penir is our host for the month of October.

As you can see Nancy sent out a spooky fun kit for us to play with.

We are all sent the same kit , its so fun to see all the different designs the DT comes up with.

I added some glossy accents to make the spiders shine and become more dimensional 

I used the Poppystamps Halloween Costume stamp and die that were in the kit and added them to the 

Lawn Fawn Shadow box.

Simon Says: All Creatures Great And Small

I made a few more cards but didn't have time to post them. I also have lots of leftovers from the kit to play with. This kit got me back in the craft room when I didn't have the time or desire to go in. Thank you Nancy for that.
