Hello and welcome to the October, 12 Kits of Occasions!
Nancy Penir is our host for the month of October.
As you can see Nancy sent out a spooky fun kit for us to play with.
We are all sent the same kit , its so fun to see all the different designs the DT comes up with.
You can go to the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog to see what each design team member created.
I added some glossy accents to make the spiders shine and become more dimensional
I used the Poppystamps Halloween Costume stamp and die that were in the kit and added them to the
Lawn Fawn Shadow box.
I made a few more cards but didn't have time to post them. I also have lots of leftovers from the kit to play with. This kit got me back in the craft room when I didn't have the time or desire to go in. Thank you Nancy for that.
Don't forget to leave some love along the way for a chance to win a special stamp and die set Nancy has selected to go to one of the comments.

Great cards Marybeth...I especially LOVE the shadow box card! I'm glad Nancy's fun kit was able to get you back into the craft room for some stamp therapy time...I know it always brings me a sense of peace when I spend time creating with the gift God gave me! :0)
ReplyDeleteAw, it's easy to see how fun this kit was to create with for Halloween! and that mug in the bg - ooh, scary!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite card? Always hard to choose.. but I saw that hand coming out of the cauldron and gave out a squeak! LOL! So cool! So clever to make some frames from the pattern paper - why haven't I thought of that yet? That hand reaching for the buttons that look like candy? Amazing! Loving them all!
ReplyDeleteOK, the hand in the cauldron? Laughed out loud and scared my hubby. All brilliant as usual, and always, always, find a die on your blog I HAVE to have! (the shadowbox!) Hugs sweet lady, and Happy Halloween!

Marybeth, this kit sure pulled out some creative genius! I am loving each and every card. Somehow you made those spiders not look so creepy, and I love that your shaker card has a patterned paper frame...I don't think I've ever done that. And I didn't know LF had a shadow box, but what fun it is! This kit was wonderful, but somehow I'm still struggling to get back at it...this month was a pretty powerful reality check. I think my creativity is still lost amidst all my thoughts. But visiting your blog was certainly inspiring. Wish I had seen it before I started with my kit. :)
ReplyDeleteA perfect line-up of Halloween treats Marybeth!! I love what you've done with the cute candy paper, using the positive and negatives! Also like what you've done with the creepy spiders. I still have them...CASE!!
