Tags and Tag Cards

Beautiful kit photo taken by Lindsey

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Marcia is our talented host for the month of December. Marcia sent many beautiful items to make some fun tags for Christmas. I needed so many more cards, so I added a few of the tags to my cards, flat for mailing.

This top layer is tissue paper that Marcia added to the kit! I loved it so much I had to use it on a card! I adde a bit of white dots to the berries and glitter on the leaves.

I only added my own bow from The Greetery for this sweet little  shaker tag, that Marcia included in the kit.

For the tag above I just added some glitter and just a tiny bit of color.

I used my blending brushes( Tayloredexpressions) on the white tag using fadded jeans ink from Tim Holtz then splattered some shimmer watercolors on top.

Always nice to receive and already heat embossed image, so easy to color in with Zig Brush Pens. Thank you Marcia, I might need this Penny Black stamp now😉

You can get all the info over at the The 12 Kits of Occasions including the supply list.

Many blessing in 2020  May you have , peace, joy and hope!

Guest Designing for Ink to Paper

Ink to Paper

Hello, hope you are all ready for Christmas and the holidays.

A while ago I was asked to guest design for Ink to Paper. I was so excited to receive some beautiful products to work with. Listed below are the products I used for this card.

I love the beautiful detail in this : Tin Stitched frame die, from Ink to Paper. To shade the edges of the vase I just used a dauber and Papertrey Ink : Soft Stone ink. Each stem was cut out of white cardstock then brushed with oxide inks for each color. I then stamped each stem with Papertrey Ink: Mint Julep I wanted it all to be very subtle.

I know this outline layer is for the front of the vase but I found it very handy for the back of the vase. I die cut a layer, using fun foam then sniped the top off ( shown below)

This made it easy to add the little Wispy stems to the front, as if I was actually filling a vase.

Showing the back side but I added in from the front after I adhered the vase to the base of the card.

After all the placement was complete I added a bit of shimmer pen to each stem . Such a fun stamp set and beautiful frame, from Ink to Paper.

I hope you all have a blessed Christmas with peace and joy.
Merry Christmas!

Noel and a Corsage

Hello! My turn over at the Poppystamps blog today. If you would like to take a look you can go   NOEL DIE.    HERE

Hope you are enjoying the season of Peace and Joy

I may have shared this with you before not sure.  This is what was left of a Christmas corsage my grandfather gave my grandmother . I love that I have it on my tree , I think of the beautiful love they shared.  He gave her one every Christmas to wear to Mass. I kinda miss that we don't do things like the anymore.

Let not your hearts be troubled.

Merry Christmas Cars

Hi there ! My turn over t the Poppystamps blog today, if you would like to see how I did this background and card please go to the Poppystamps Blog

I also wanted to share my new favorite and best ever craft glue! I love the fine tip and Stainless steel pin ( no dark changing colors) I have been using this for a bit and it has not plugged up even once! I also bought a big jar to refill and an extra tip . I have absolutely no connection to this company but wanted to share .

God bless and take care!
