Fall Cards with 12 Kits

Happy Halloween!

Hello, welcome to the October 12 Kits of Occasions !
Our host for the month is. Birgit :Crafting While I Wait .  Birgit who is as sweet as can be and creates the most beautiful cards,  sent out this darling fall themed kit, filled with lots of fun and pretty fall patterned paper and fun designs.

On the card above I used the stamp and die set from The Greetery:Comforting Commands Stamp Set  and Memory box for the framed die cuts.

On the card above I just started putting things together that were included in the kit, had fun doing that.

For the card above I used Memory Box Embossing Folder for the background and Poppystamps :2308 Thanks Outline craft die

On the card below I used a Pretty Pink Posh die and left the pumpkin uncolored so the pretty patterned paper from the kit could shine .

Christmas Angel / Mug Rug

Hi there ! Hope you are all healthy and happy! My turn over at the Poppystamps blog today, if you would like to check it out you can go  HERE

Before I make a card now, I need to clean up my quilting . Sometimes I can get distracted and I start sewing up some of the scraps that I just finished using. I ended up making this little hot pad/ mug rug. ( for holding coffee on your lap) I love how it turned out. It has a double layer of cotton batting to protect from heat.

Hope you have a great weekend

Craft Room Time

Hello , hope you are all hanging in there .
I finally had some time to make a card.
(I made few cards for future post)

I used the beautiful BotaniCuts Toadstool Garden Die and Comforting Commands Stamp Set both from The Greetery.

I will be honest, this card was remade many times and almost ended up in the trash. I think I  finally saved it with less mistakes.

The glitter docent show up much in this photo but I love it in real life.

Take care and thank you !

Bright Sea Side

Kit photo courtesy of Tracey

Hello and welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions monthly blog post.
This month our host is Kim Heggins

Kim sent out the cutest kit full of bright sunny colors, this kit was a joy to create with. Thanks sweet Kim (aka... Martha Stewart  :)

The card above I used everything in Kims kit but the stitched circle die, that's from : memory box Pinpoint Circle Frame

The card above also uses everything from Kims kit just added some glossy accents to the eyes and boat portholes.

I didn't realize that ( forgot to look) there was another's print on the other side of paper, I was so excited when I saw this cute little underwater scene.  I used the same : memory box Pinpoint Circle Frame.

I added my own sentiment from The Greetery, Birthday Blooms Stamp Set andBirthday Blooms Die. Also added glossy accents to the portholes on the sub. In person it just give a bit of texture and I think looks neat.

Please stop by the 12 Kits of Occasions blog for the other designers and list of kit supplies in the upper tab.

Thanks so much for the visit!
Praying for peace and kindness this October, God bless.

Parcel and Post Christmas

Hello! It's the 25th of the month and that means it's time for the Keeping Christmas Blog Hop. We're  trying to make cards each month so when Christmas comes around we won't have a mad rush to make so many cards at once. I LOVE making Christmas cards all year round.

Hello!  Before you know it , it will be time to mail out those Christmas cards! I am happy to say another month has gone by and I got a few more cards and gift tags created.

I used one of my past favorite : Post & Parcel Kit from Papertrey Ink.
I have an entire kit and decided to use some of the already printed papers that came with the kit. I did some diecuting , glossing accents and adding some glitter.  One the one above I added a bow from The Greetery.

The tags were also created with the kit. Simple die cutting and adhering together. Im sure many of you have the some of the kits as well. Nice time to use them up and get some Christmas cards done.

I pray you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for the visit today. Take care.

Don't forget to see the rest of the Design team.

Boo to You

Hello dear friends ! I Hope you are doing well!
My turn over at the Poppystamps Blog today!

We are still very smoky with active fires to the east and west of where I live. I miss the blue sky and pray for so many including the firefighters!

Did you know many firefighters sleep on the ground or top of the firetruck when fighting the fires. They are awesome!

Take care and God bless!

Watercolored Fall Birthday Card

Hi Friends . We are doing lots of praying here in California. So many fires all over and burning some of the most beautiful mountains, trees. town and homes. God bless all our firefighters, first responder and many that lost so much.

I couldn't wait to use the new products from The Greetery , the sentiment is a favorite of mine and the leaves are new, all linked below. I water colored the leaves .

I hope you are safe where you are. Our Skys have been  brown/orange for so many days now. Today is the first day of blue skies(winds), grateful for that.

We took the picture with mask on to remember 2020

I posted on my  Instagram  a few days ago. We were blessed to be in Yosemite for a few days to greet our son who just finished  solo walking the John Muir Trail ( over 240 miles) He ended with summit of Mount Whitley. So grateful he finished before the next big fire that started as we left. All so very heartbreaking.
