Welcome to the rewind!
Hey! This month we are all using our leftovers, from previous kits over the years.
If you are not sure what I am talking about please head on over to The 12 Kits Of Occasions Blog
I am happy to announce we have a new 12 Kits member:
Lindsey Larsen from Occasional Crafting... Welcome Lindsey! We are so excited you joined the group!
This month we also have a lot of the past guest designers joining us, using their leftovers.
Enjoy!
I will be entering this one below Catered Crop Red
All but this red card have either and or:
Heat embossing / Glossy Accents.
Yep, I decided to make all boy cards with my leftovers! My girls are always asking for young boy cards , so I decided to make cards that were much needed.
I used all papers from the past kits, I even used the back side of white card stock that had sentiments stamped on it. The one thing not in the kits was the 5$ stamp set from Papertrey Ink
Boy Basics: Game On Mini Stamp Set |
Every one is unique and wonderful, Marybeth... but, you know I'm gaga over that hounds-tooth patterned paper!

Finding images and ideas for that age group to make cards can be so difficult...but you nailed it with these great cards!
ReplyDeleteYes, the boys are the hardest to keep on hand. These are much needed and I'm sure, much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI love all your "boy" cards - I have a boy of my own that I need to make happy with these! You and the Glossy Accents. I swear if I EVER Get out there - you are going to teach me how to make them look so great - They look like shiny plastic and add life to these images!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun collection of boy cards, your girls will give you a big thank you!! You should enter your PRETTY red card over at the Catered Crop. They're having a red challenge!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you made all boy cards! I certainly went more feminine with mine, but I did have the thought that so many of the papers with these kits would work great for masculine cards. And I super love that you were able to create so many different things with a single stamp set, too.
ReplyDeleteWow Marybeth these cards are over the top great!! I love each one!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a smart idea. I love all these boy cards. Great way to use up those patterned papers.
ReplyDeleteYou now have enough boy cards for a year! LOVE how each is so different and so FAB! Great mix of colors and designs!
ReplyDeleteI like that you were able to make each card unique in its own way :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to make all boy cards! Your girls will love you. And you used a lot of the very cool patterns that are wonderful for masculine designs. You certainly showed how useful one little $5 stamp set can be!
ReplyDeleteI really love how you decided to use your left overs, so fun and so very clever. How nice to be able to turn what was not used into so many fabulous boy cards, you are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know what the rail is at a concert...it is a metal wall that comes up to about my armpits the only thing on the other side is security and the band. Ashleigh loves to be up close and personal and you can not get closer than the rail. So much fun and heaven forbid you have to leave to pee...you will never find you way out or back in with thousands of crazy rockers. You would have so much fun with us!
I absolutely LOVE that you made what you need...and still used all the papers from past kits to make your all boy cards. You used so much creativity with the patterned papers...love the one with the brick background the most.
ReplyDeleteMarybeth you get an award for the most creative use of your 12 Kits Leftovers. What a brilliant idea!! Love all your designs!!
