An Attempt At Paper Weaving

Ashley Cannon Newell gave us this fun video on paper weaving.

I did a good job messing this one up with the added glitter, not liking that!

I also want to say Happy Birthday to a sweet friend and teammate Sharron, I hope you have a wonderful birthday Monday!

Hi! I tried two times with this paper weaving, just couldn’t come up with what I had in my head. I have to say some of you made stunning cards using this weaving. I used Papertrey Ink stamps and dies for both cards. Im in a hurry , I will try to post the links later.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
The heatwave finally broke and we are now in the 80 and it cools down a bit at night ...its heaven compared to 104 and above for 4 days.

  1. Great job Marybeth! I was going to give this MIM a try and completely forgot. Love your polka dots in your second card!! Glad to hear you've had a break from the heat, hope it continues ;)

  2. Two great paper weaves, Marybeth. Love the coffee (or is it tea?) mug and the bright patterned papers... Fun B-Day card.
The Thank You card is lovely too with it's Fall PP and stitched frame ~ no, I didn't see a glitter mess up, only a very artsy homemade card :-)

  3. Thanks for the birthday wishes, Marybeth! And so glad to hear you have had a break in the heat wave. We didn't get that hot here but it's been pretty uncomfortable--thankfully cooler today. I'm definitely ready for fall! Love your cards, especially the fun polka dots!

  10. I like the way you've said the heatwave has broken and it's still 80! Sounds pretty hot still to me. These are lovely Marybeth - the bright colours of the paper make a gorgeous woven base and I like the glitter around the leaf. It makes it pop more!

  12. I like both of these cards. Very clever idea to have that pattern inside a leaf die cut, and I just love those fun birthday papers you used on your birthday card.
