Happy Monday to you! I hope your weekend was wonderful!
We enjoyed a beautiful weekend... kids baseball game, dinner and movie with some of the grandkids.
Went to brunch ( sat outside to enjoy the beautiful mountain view) on Sunday after Mass with my guy.
We spent the rest of the beautiful sunny day relaxing... just the two of us. It's been very busy these past few weeks.
It's the little things and time with family that means the most to me.
Set and Bitty Big: Soft Stone Color Collection patterned paper .
I pierced the stamped stem then did my stitching and added a few
glass beads to the leaves. The back of the bookmark is covered with vellum to hide the stitching if used as a bookmark.
Thank you so much for the visit!
God bless!

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on family. We had several members over last night to celebrate Lizzy's birthday, and we just sat around the dining room table and talked, and talked and talked. Pure delight! And speaking of delights...your card is truly delightful. Such pretty Springtime colors, and your stitching is perfection. I love the gray stripes behind your panel, too. Love this card!! Enjoy the rest of your week. Bev
ReplyDeleteSOOOO pretty Marybeth!! Love the simplicity of this beautiful card and I would definitely use a bookmark like that! Glad you got to enjoy a beautiful weekend with family...sure wish our weather would cooperate...Michigan sometimes skips Spring and goes right from Winter to Summer, and I'm starting to think this is going to be one of those years! Sunny today, but only in the 30's...brrrrrr!!

ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds wonderful, Mb! Family time and couple time, what more could anyone want?! Your sweet card look so amazing with the stitched stems! You are so talented! As I'm visiting my friends who are playing in MIM, I'm marveling at how MIM and the photo I chose for the current Inspired By All the Little Things go hand-in-hand! It's a lovely coincidence and I'd love to have you play along and enter this card if you want! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
ReplyDeleteThose yellow blooms and green stitched stems really pop with the Soft Stone background, Marybeth. Very clever decorating a bookmark with potential use by the recipient. This is what I call a two-fer (2 for 1). It’s beautiful.
