Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We had a nice one , went on a few long bike rides and dinner with friends . We also had most of the weekend to ourselves.  I have to run, so another fast post. Ashly from Papertrey Ink did the MIM video this week .Make It Monday: #80 Making Garland.    CAS-UAL Fridays theme is Banners & Flags.  I bought this Happy Haunting Die from PTI,but I didn't  buy the stamp set as I knew I would use last years set :Halloween Treats and Sweets.  This card is to show appreciation for Claire Brennan at  Waltzingmouse Stamps . You may also click that link to read her letter.  I only know Claire via the blog and emails she sends me, when I ask to add to my oreder….. Yes, she answers emails.  Even when I have already  placed an order she will add to it and get it in the mail as fast as she can. So I wont have to pay extra shipping. Well, Claire is the best and so is her  stamp company. When I received my email that said … Order Cancelled ….I was so confused . Then I read it and was so sad for her heavy heart. I had to email her right away. With all that she has to do she emailed me right back… What a sweetheart. So when Renee sent me a link to Nerina’s blog I knew I wanted to make a card. Hi, just a quick post for CASology.  When my girls go through my cards , they always seem to be looking for a CAS one. This should do it. I have a birthday stamp that I use on the inside of my cards , for this card I only used the top of the sentiment. Hope your week is a good one.  Take Care.

 I really loved Julia’s sketch, I did turn it on its side.

 Oh I had so much fun making this card! I am very happy  with the stamp I chose to stamp the background .( The background had to be stamped)  For once  I love how this turned out!  The B. stamp is the one from... Waltzingmouse Stamps: My Island. I think it looks a bit like old block wall in a dark hallway. I said a bit :) Ok ,the other stamp is a favorite of mine from Wanda’s Pantry WMS. The ribbon is from a craft store . I added a bit of Glossy Accents on the head.  I also had the button in my stash, key is from Hobby Lobby.   To frame the main stamp I just cut the edged by hand, because I don't have the real die that would go with this stamp. I think it works.  Did I tell you how much fun I had making this card. I wish they could all be this much fun and not work.

I love making two color cards,its fun and relaxing

I woke up at 4 am this morning , so I decided to make a card. I chose to make a dynamic duos card.  A dear friend of mine sent me this beautiful Heart die from Serendipity Stamps, just because! Jeanne: AKeptLife . I know others have been the recipient of her kindness as well. You should check out her gorgeous cards, you will love her style.  This card was made with relative ease, and was a fun one to make. I think I  found the perfect Stampin Up sentiment for this one .

 Hello , again I am late to the party. In real life I am almost always on time. I made this card with hand rolled cotton twine. Kinda like this Here. Then I added a bit of Glossy Accents and glitter.  I bought only the candy jar. I did not buy any fillers … but always thought I would just try and make my own. The sentiment is from Earth Angel. The cotton lace is from Waltzingmouse Stamps as well. The cotton twine is from the Ribbon Carousel Keeping this short , many cards to look at.

 Hello and happy weekend! I was making a card to stick in my husbands suitcase . I wanted to inter the ColourQ challenge and I also remembered CASology theme is pond. My husband is going to Canada for one of his ,almost annual fishing trips. His friend inherited  a very ,very  small island. Its just hard to get to, from CA. Lots of travel.  I sure hope he enjoys himself with his friends .. he could sure some stress free time from work, even thought we just came back from Yosemite. I just wanted him to know I am thinking of him.  Not sure how many trout you would find in a pond unless it was a trout pond,  :)

Paper: The blue and green paper is from Stampin Up , others are from Papertrey ink and printed is from Lost & Found

Stamps: Very old : D.O.T.S. and The fish made in 1992 Just says F-493 Petaluma, Ca . Sentiment is PTI Aloha

This weeks MIM is from Dawn McVey . Dawn showed us how to water color with ink

pads. I was going to use flowers , but thought I might add some color to the camera. I already had the camera stamped and cut,and the papers were on the desk . So I went with it. Everything is Papertrey Ink… but the Glossy Accents on the camera.

I need to run. My daughter Nancy asked me to go with her today! We will find out if

 they are having a boy or girl. My guess is a girl, she has two boys!

 Hi again! Love this sketch from Bonnie Sharp. This was fun to make. I used Waltzingmouse Stamps : Earth Angel for the sentiment and WMS for the center image, its called Heroines -Fairy Princess . The circle is from Spellbinders and behind that is my new Stampin Up  Sizzix Bigs Snow Flurry die. I think it worked because only the large dots showed up.  The paper is Papertrey Ink .  I made two totally different cards but decided to only enter this one. Everyone seems to be using stickers and I have had this set for a long time. I bought a slim tin of these alphabet stickers at either Anthropology or Pottery barn. The sticker can still be taken off and used. Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge

                     

                          This fun sketch is by Belinda Chang Langner.  I have dying to play all week. I hope everyone is doing well. I have had such a busy 3 weeks , having fun … but getting tired.  I went out to lunch with one of my sisters and sister-in law .  My SIL s’ name is Maryellen , I had a sister named  Maryellen and My Godmother's (my aunt) is also Maryellen. Then the waitress name was Maryellen .  Well ,anyway we had such a fun time . We did a bit of shopping too!  I just feel so blessed to have them in my life. By the way I love my SIL like a dear sister, my brother was so lucky to marry her 30 yrs ago.

 I decided to make this a Christmas card. I hand cut the angel  wings from Earth Angel and used them for the leaves .  I have done this before.  I used the snowflake from Join Us  and just added some pearls. The flower is from Jeanne: AKeptLife… Thanks again Jeanne… I love using these and like I said, I don't think I will run out. You are such a sweet friend. The sentiment is from Compliments of the Season
